The vegetable spring rolls are battered then fried by the looks of it. Taste of oil. My bbq beef ribs didn’t taste of bbq at all and were mainly fat - the bbq sauce itself was like a jelly and was set.My girlfriend had the duck and said that was okay.

I have had many good Chinese meals at Oriental House over the past 15 years and what I experienced last night was not the usual standard of Oriental House. The sweet and sour sauce was red and tasted like ketchup and was like jelly. The peking sauce on my ribs was like jelly too. Special fried I ordered with gravy and it came with proper Bisto on, this tasted quite nice. I think the chef has left.
