Great local pub. Does quiz nights, good food, landlord/lady are friendly, has a welcoming atmosphere and shows all the sports you'd want. Also has a beer garden for those warmer days.
Popped in for a quick drink after a 3 hour noonish walk. Stayed for two, because the barman was so friendly. The music was pleasingly low-volume, too. Toilets clean. The pub is clean and pleasant to be in. Only downside for me (and it might just be my phone network) was the pub appears to be in a signal blackspot: couldn't get a signal at all near the front door. Brilliant pub with a fantastic community spirit. Food is fantastic, really can recommend it. Dave and Nikki are the perfect landlords, would always welcome you in the bar with a smile.
