“My wife and I visited this after it appeared in my facebook feed normally we take Facebook with a pinch of salt! We are so pleased we visited this restaurant as the food was absolutely delicious, normally we find menus with a handful of choices that appeal but with this restaurant we will have to visit several times to work our way through the menu as everything appealed. Staff were amazing and even though it was very busy made us feel very welcomed. We’ll be back several times looking forward to the platter and a Sunday roast.”

“Really liked it. Friendly. Decent music (if you like rock - who in their right mind doesn't?). Rocking a rock aesthetic. Felt very comfortable. Saw a gig at The Theatre Royal - came back here after for a cheeky Guinness before heading up to Bedfordshire! Sweet dreams.”

“Tonight has been absolutely amazing! Came to celebrate my two friends birthdays and they couldn’t be more accommodating. Julie gave us amazing service, genuinely one of the best server experiences I’ve ever had! I had the new cauliflower starter which was to die for and also had abit of my friends calamari (I don’t usually like calamari but this was another level insane). Had the rump steak as a main (again don’t usually get steak) was so flavourful and mouth watering. Thank you so much for a great experience Julie, queen energy ??✨”

“3 very happy customers!We stumbled upon this gem of a pub and we were very happy to see they had a table available in the restaurant. The service was amazing and food was incredible.As a vegan, it was nice to see there were a couple of options for me, that weren't the typical plant based burger like other places offer. I finally went with the Quorn sausage and mash and OH MY GOD! So nice!We've left very happy and can't wait to return to try other things on the menu.Thank you for looking after us today and we will see you very soon!”
