Wonderful atmospheric pub ser in the caves under Nottingham Castle from the 1100's. Make sure you make a reservation to get a table on one of the upper floors. Down by the bar gets crowded and has minimal cave atmosphere. We honestly had a perfect table under the chimney opening in the malting room. Fantastic pub built into the limestone cliff below the castle. Make reservations to sit inside. It is a Green King pub, but the food was better than your standard GK. It was fantastic to eat and drink in such a cool place. There were stories and cursed items all over. Worth the effort.
