Lovely Afternoon tea however attention needeto surrounding areas and cleaning. We were upstairs and felt that we were in a store room. Poker table lying on its side crumbs all over the floor coushions piled in the corner.. Glass partition needed cleaning also piping and widowsill very badly need dusting and covered in dead flies/insects.

The sandwiches and cakes were made very nice freindly staff. But unfortunately we were placed upstairs witch wasn't a problem until we noticed the carpet had not been hoovered food crumbs and stored equipment piled in the corner the glass balcony screen had dirty finger marks all over witch we had to sit looking at plus the top window ledge was thick with dust and dead flys sorry for this review but the food was lovely ?

I took my mum for afternoon tea for Mother's Day , the service and food was excellent, really couldn't fault it .The only downside is the way the sun shines through the windows directly on to the customers and tables next to the window , I covered our food with the napkin to keep the sun from drying it out , its a pity they haven't got some blinds to pull down or across . I would still highly recommend it though , just wear some sunscreen lol ?.

Purchased a Groupon voucher for afternoon tea, very reasonable price for 4 people. Lovely place, lovely selection of fresh sandwiches and delicious scones and cakes and friendly staff, definitely recommend.

Hi there popped in here for a sack and a coffee, it's very quiet at this time of day. The chicken rap was ok coffee good the too young valley girls serving are kind of what can expect nowadays .

Lovely food & drinks. Great place. Just a shame that there were not more people enjoying it. Cheap parking right outside the door.

Heard good reviews but left very underwhelmed. Given there were four of us, when the cake stand arrived we assumed another would be following, it didn’t. Certainly not enough sandwiches for four people, 3 triangles each. There certainly wasn’t enough jam and cream for the scones, one pot of each and the cakes were sadly dry. Two couples with two vouchers, 1 was a gift and 1 a Groupon, certainly not value for the money we paid collectively.

Vanilla sponge 3 ways. Cream tea was very disappointing. Scones with cream were lovely, jam was cheap with no visible fruit. Cakes were probably the worse I have had in a cream tea. Two vanilla tray bake sponge, two of the same with icing, and a slice of yes, you guessed it, vanilla birthday cake. There was one chocolate cup cake. Prosecco was flat. Sandwiches were basic- ham - cucumber and cream cheese- salmon and cream cheese - egg mayonnaise. Spend your money elsewhere.

Lovely place, staff polite, helpful. Went with my mum for an afternoon tea and it was lovely. Happy they actually had smoked salmon on the sandwiches. Scones delicious. Cakes fabulous.

Went here with a group of friends for the ABBA night, food service was a shambles, wrong orders, missing orders etc etc might have been useful if they had taken names when taking our money months in advance and staff were far from helpful when told the orders were wrong. they even tried to accuse us of not paying for everyone but, thankfully, we all had our receipts.Entertainment was ok but a DJ playing ABBA tunes would have been the same as the 3 ‘singers’ were just singing along to to a prerecorded soundtrack!Only given it the extra star as we always have a good time when we go out together but guessing this venue is off our list for the future…

Went here with a group of friends for the ABBA evening, price included a choice of food platters. Food service was a shambles, my friend and I had ordered one cheese and one antipasti platter, it was given to us , then taken away as apparently wasn’t ours, we were then served a cheese board, just cheese, lots of it, with a few crackers…no antipasti …so I went to ask where it was to be told they didn’t think they had anymore, guess someone ran out to Aldi as something did eventually turn up 20 minutes later…. Another in our group waited over 30 minutes for hers and, yes you guessed, it was wrong! We had all paid the venue direct and said we were part of the group booking, maybe it would have been useful if they had taken names with the pre-paid orders to avoid all the confusion. The entertainment was ok but the lip syncing not great, had thought it was going to be more ‘live vocals’ but realistically they could just have had a DJ playing ABBA songs. As a group we had fun, as we always do, but don’t think we will be returning to this venue.
