We got in here last minute due to a bad experience elsewhere. Roy and his staff were so accommodating to us all a party of around 20 for a 60th! The atmosphere, staff and food were absolutely amazing. We would definitely recommend. We were welcomed and treat like royalty from entering the restaurant to leaving. What lovely people. The food was delicious and we all took food away ? thank you for making our night memorable in the best way!

Took a £70 order on website but refused to give us any order after saying it’s on the way for two hours on the phone. Had to go into the shop to ask what’s happening for them to say it was a website problem and turned us away empty handed.

Ordered a take away for Christmas eve for 5 people, they forgot the onion bhajis, food was cold (we collected ourselves and live 2 minutes away), ordered 4 main curries between us and each dish had 4 pieces of chicken in the rest was watery tasteless sauce, I've had better from a supermarket jar! No salad with the bhajis we went back for. Naan breads where chewy and like rubber. I've honestly never had such terrible sauce to an Indian dish, no indian flavours and just puréed mush. We will not be buying again. Huthwaite Tandoori from now on , can't be any worse

From my initial phone call to service on the day, being greeted personally and nothing was too much trouble they went above and beyond to make a surprise birthday meal fantastic! Banners and glitter on the table were provided without me asking and a suggestion of a birthday cake supplied and bought out to happy birthday music , what a lovely gesture. Our new favourite India restaurant ?
Rani is a very good local restaurant. Food is always great. Service is great too. Its good to come back time after time and see the same staff year after year. I think this tells you a lot about how this restaurant treats its staff and customers. Never been disappointed with my many visits to Rani.
