Booked this venue for me, my daughter and my mother in law for Mother’s Day, I can strongly say I was not disappointed. From even making the booking I received a phone call from a member of staff who was so helpful, she explained the set menu, pricing and availability. Upon arrival, all the staff was so very warm and welcoming. We was seated and our drinks order was taken, after a short while we then had our food options taken. All very quickly but not rushed. The food was of highly quality and fresh, it was very delicious. The set menu was a reasonable price and the food was very nice. The staff accommodated my young daughter and was very friendly and kind with her. I can not recommend this venue enough, for the high quality food and service. After receiving the bill and was VERY happy with the cost, I left a generous tip and it was well deserved. Working in the trade myself I can say I recommend this venue fully and know future visitors will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys and me and my family will definitely be back! Thank you for making such a special day even more special ?

Really lovely meal, better than expected. Most of the mains come with an array of sides – salad, potatoes, chips and veg – which makes for a very big meal if there are just two of you. I opted for the “Triple Take” combo, which was good. The dining area is very spacious, so you don’t feel like you’re on top of another tables – this is particularly unusual for a table of two, which I often find are cramped and placed wherever there’s space. Only criticism is no one came to take my payment at the table – perhaps they don’t do that here. We waited quite a while, then paid on leaving. It would have been good to know if that was the case when we arrived as it was a bit of a waste of time. That being said, the staff were very polite. Lots of parking, admittedly went on a weeknight, but practically parked by the door even though inside it was half full.

Nice pub, Lovely food. Unfortunately for us it’s not a dog friendly pub. We were allowed to sit in the garden room watch was cold and needed updating. ( broken sofa) not ideal when wanting to book a meal.Pub just near Silverhill Woodland and would get more custom if dog friendly inside.We would visit it again for drinks.
