We just had the most gorgeous Christmas lunch! The food was absolutely perfect and the servers were so friendly and accommodating. Will ? be rebooking for XMas 2024! Thank you for making our day extra special ?

Just had a Christmas dinner,...ALL I can say is It was absolutely first class. Great price, very good portions. Came away VERY satisfied and full. In fact as soon as bookings are open we will be booking again.And the staff were cracking. Very helpful and cheerful.GREAT JUST GREAT......Parking: Good size carpark.....

Popped in today for some lunch for the first time. Only ever had a drink before. But can safely say it does NOT disapoint!!! It may be Marstons but the menu is completely not Marstons. Loads of home made and fresh items to choose from. Not like the normal frozen, microwaved, and deep fried rubbish you get in other pubs. Took my mum for lunch and she had the fresh made pizza. I had the fantastic filled yorkshire pudding with minted lamb, vegetables, and home made chips. The portions was more than enough. Staff where friendly and very welcoming. Will be returning with friends and family very soon. Thank you!!!!

Recently had my Dads wake at TR and was very pleased with the prices per head, quality of the food and overall location in the pub to keep it fairly private. I would recommend it if you’re planning a function. Give them a try.

Living in the area I have been here multiple times, tonight I decided to pop in with my sister for some of the worst food ever, I'm not sure if they have changed chefs but I have never ever tasted anything like it, the food was hard and come with things missing when I asked I was told sorry we haven't got none, would of been nice to know that before I ordered, chips just tasted like oil, hard peas, lumpy mash and cold sausages. Will not be popping in again.

I think this is a fantastic pub a great atmosphere with some great people too the food is always nice and service is fantastic the owners are very welcoming and hospitable. I would recommend going on a Sunday when they have their roast dinners on because they are delightful the one I recommend the braised minted lamb as it is delightful and the owner's have great taste in football

Ordered the minted pie on the special board, was very cold when arrived, sent it back and 5 minutes later after being microwaved it didn’t look at all good so left it
