Used Click n' Collect for the first time this week and ordered 3 days in advance; was informed 24 hours before pickup that two items had been swapped and at pickup that a further two were out of stock. Cheers!

I have been using Asda West Bridgford for a five years now and I am basing my review on my long term experiences.A big plus is the choice. The West Bridgford site is huge with two floors.A very big plus for me is the option of scanning on provided handsets as you walk round to save time checking out. However at busy times they are all drained flat of power. I think there is enough demand to increase the number of handsets. I have tried using my mobile phone to do the scanning a few times but it is frustrating and ineffective.Others can chose the traditional self scan checkout and manned checkouts but they are to slow for or problematic for my taste. The car park is large so no problem parking.I have found recently more frequently completely bare shelves of popular products. The shelves don’t seem to be getting restocked as regularly anymore.A big downside recently has been moving things round. This is a big inconvenience.I now have to spend more time searching for things that used to be in the same spot for years. A few times I have now left without items I used to have no difficulty finding. Even after quite a few months everything seems randomand hard to find. I have heard other customers get frustrated by the new layout – even months after the reorganization. For this reason I have started to drift to Wilford’s Aldi. They have less choice and less parking space but I can find things quicker. No supermarket is perfect but now when time is an issue or it is a busy period Asda is not the place to go.

It was our favourite supermarket, but now I've been shopping at Sainsbury's for over a year, there is a cheaper and better quality selection.

A gang of around seven motorcyclists were hanging around in the carpark last night, not far from the entrance to the store. They were revving up their engines, making such a racket, riding around the carpark at high speeds, on and off, for an hour or more. It was even witnessed by two uniformed policewomen who were in the carpark, returning to their car after buying stuff from the supermarket. They obviously didn't want to get involved in the antisocial behavior, so they drove off. I moved my car to another spot because I didn't feel safe.

This branch is not really geared up to handle 24 hour shopping. I had to leave over £100 worth of groceries at the self-service check out, which was totally unstaffed. I had no option, the conveyor belt check-out had all stopped. At 1:00am the store is pretty much unmanned, other than one lazy guy, looking like he'd rather be at home. He saw the difficulty I was experiencing with the terminal repeated saying that it didn't recognise the item, item after item. I did get some help from the security guy who left his post to search for assistance for me, but the person who appeared only stuck around for one scanned item, so it wasn't long before I was stuck again. By this time I was beginning to worry about my refrigerated stuff as I live a distance away in Beeston. I was at my wits end so I decided to take the advice of my boyfriend and leave without anything.

Sometimes I need a bigger supermarket, so went to Asda today, late morning. There was no milk at all, and this happens regularly. Also massive queues for the few checkouts that were open

Overall a great place, however I left Asda feeling rather shaken. This is because of a young man screaming and shouting on the floor near the ROBLOX gift-cards begging for one whilst his dad dragged him around by his ear. Staff didn’t intervene, I was given the name “Umer Karam” to report.

Love to go to the cafe there. Their main mea is 50% off after 3 o clock. CS is alright. The ladies are friendly. I understand sometime the queue is long, as during lunch time it almost got a full house. The ladies are too busy , taking orders, making and passing food.It seems the Till system could go down at times, so it takes 10 minutes to reboot and begin to take orders again. Hope the management team can look into it.My go-to place for groceries. I hope they can make Gardening a permanent section.

Don't normally go to Asda, and now I know why!! Service is dreadful. Stood at the self checkout for 5mins waiting for anyone to acknowledge. Eventually comes over and said I'm sorry for your wait and tells me the management have them understanffed.Would be 1 star but I was chuffed at being asked for ID at 35yo

We were in the shop Sunday 24th sept at approx 12.20 we had completed our shopping and went to pay. But what greeted us was what I can only describe as organised chaos my question is where were the checkout operators?? There was only 3 tills staffed with about 100 full trolleys waiting to served. There was 50 yard queues for the self serve also.we abandoned our shop and went elsewhere . Staff up Asda or you will lose more custom. No wonder people are using lidl and aldi more.

I had always been a local customer to Asda until a few years back. I switched to Tesco/Sainsburys as I felt that Asda was getting too expensive for the quality of food they sell. Always seems to be a rip off. Sad to say.

Went there on the 30th of September and thought I had brought a cherry pie but to my surprise it was rhubarb and apple I was not impressed the box said it was cherry they need to make sure they are boxed right as people have alergies so one star for asda.

Don't click and collect here - you'll be sat outside the doors for 15 minutes everytime before you get your stuff, even if you let them know you're on your way. It never gets any better, which is why I only use this if I'm absolutely desperate (and even then I regret it EVERY SINGLE TIME!)
