Bar • “We stumbled across this by chance ordered starters and mains. The best scotch egg hed ever had according to my husband. I had a risotto tiger prawns and chorizo amazing tasty and huge portion ( i took some home in a tray). The staff were lovely friendly and attentive. We want to go back.”
Bar • “We often come for Sunday lunch as we live local. Came today I had roast pork and my husband had the beef was absolutely delicious and good size portions. Lovely atmosphere with low music in the background. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly, only had to wait 10 minutes before food arrived. Will definitely continue to come.Well done to you all”

Staff lovely and friendly-like to give special mentions to both Leah and I’m sure her name is Serita?Hope I have that right!Serita was on floor almost every morning I had breakfast and was a wee ray of sunshine.Young Leah who did a few of my evening meal servings is a lovely lass,courteous chatty and friendly. Staff were friendly and accommodating of our dietary needs and foibles, allowing us to mix and match a selection of dishes from all menus and even for people to share. Very attentive servers without being claustrophobic. Food was all delicious and arrived at the table looking and tasting wonderful. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant area, all in all a lovely evening. Would recommend”
Bar • “Very busy, had a really nice pizza. Half the table made an error in ordering starter as delayed everyone's main. Some items pretty good value, probably comparable to other establishments for more expensive items.”
Bar • “I've been to this pub a few times. It is good and the staff are nice. The only reason for 4 stars is because one time when sat outside, the garden area was completely swarmed with these white flies, which weren't anywhere else. This made sitting outside not very pleasant. Not sure if anything could have been done, but sharing my experience.”
