We visited last Tuesday and was greeted by Simon behind the bar. He originally warned us off that they were so busy due to a Wedding party that they wouldn't be able to accommodate us for food. We chose to grab a drink anyway to decide were to go instead. As Simon delivered our drinks and told us that he'd negotiated with the chef and that they could squeeze us in! Very friendly staff, nice food, comfortable room however wifi didn’t work during stay. The location is good for Oxford, the cotswolds and Blenheim Palace. The road was a bit noisy and we were told this was because of a current diversion that is in place

We often come for Sunday lunch as we live local. Came today I had roast pork and my husband had the beef was absolutely delicious and good size portions. Lovely atmosphere with low music in the background. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly, only had to wait 10 minutes before food arrived. Will definitely continue to come.Well done to you all
