Brilliant find last minute off the main road. Exceptional service, highest quality food, log fire, and such an unexpected find. Is priced to high end food it offers, so not for a quick sandwich, but certainty exceptional and well worth taking a detour.

One of my favourite places to eat locally. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is brilliant. It is such a wonderful restaurant and the staff are all friendly. A highly recommended restaurant and an amazing dining experience.

Went for dinner with a friend. I'm veggie and ordered the red cabbage ragu gnocchi. Was so, so disappointing. I basically had a bowl of chopped red cabbage with a little garnish of gnocchi on top. I never leave food but left most of it. Had to order a bowl of chips on the side to keep me going.I paid £20 for a bowl of cabbage basically (plus unplanned for chips as dinner was so awful).Lovely setting inside but very let down by the food. Very cheeky to charge so much for cabbage too!

A historic pub in a small village. Food is very good and the service was friendly and helpful. The menu is interesting although prices are quite high. The venue has vaulted ceilings with lots of lovely wooden beams. We'll worth a visit.
