Awesome place, really welcoming. Just dropped in for a coffee, but will be back for a meal.

Amazing food!!! We had the burgers with bacon jam, and they were fantastic. The burgers pates themselves had a beautiful grill pit flavour to them. Everyone from the chefs to the catering staff seemed really friendly and were happy to make our dining experience first class. Really pleased we stopped in for lunch!P.s. we ate our food too fast to take a picture! It's generally a good sign right? ??

After a bit of a tough few months The Plough is back. New owners have cleaned it up and it looks really nice. A great menu reasonably priced with a good drinks menu. Food is top quality. 100% recommended. My favourite local is back and well worth a visit!!!!

It was empty and so cold you couldn't enjoy the meal. There were a number of aged persons, however, the food got cold very quickly. Been there 3 Christmas years in a row. Sadly we will not return. No lemonade , no coke, and only one carrot and two halves of a roast potato. Times are hard, but the amount of money you charge , well try portion size and being able to take coats off to eat. It was freezing . Atmosphere nil temperature artic. The crumble was served upside down with soggy pastry tasted like wallpaper glue. Not sure why empty? every other year been packed out. We were the only table there. Need to put heating on guys. Staying that cold was horrendous. Sorry, you've lost our vote this year.

If I left it blank you wouldn't have understood. The Plough has been ruined. Well over £200. For two retireded persons treating a family birthday.Used to be great. Been going 5 years. Terrible shock at quality ? of food.

This is a very cosy and casual pub. We went in on a whim as we were staying in an Airbnb next door. We were starving after travelling all day and the wait for food was a little long but once it got there it was absolutely delicious. I had the pie of the day which was a steak pie with mash. It was delicious, full of meat and red hot. My friend had the chicken and said it was very nice and my other friend didn't stop talking about the lasagna all weekend. I'd definitely pop back in if I was down that way.

When we arrived everything looked promising, nice decor and a cosy feel about the place. We received the menu, with 3 roast options, Lamb, Beef and chicken! All reasonable priced between £17-£19. We ordered 2 lamb, 2 large glasses of Rioja and 2 pints of Diet Coke. The meals come out, and to say it was a disappointment is an understatement. I had to check the roast potatoes were roasted as they looked like they were only boiled; however they were roasted but it seemed like they were roasted for no longer than 10 mins. The carrots and parsnips were JUST cooked and again the parsnips were barely roasted. The Yorkshire pudding!!!!! Well all I can say was it was a soggy mess!! Disgusting. We didn’t complain or mention it on the check back because to be quite frank we were hungry!! So we decided against having a desert, which both of us wanted. We asked for the bill, we put down our money and then spent the next 20 mins finishing our wine. We walked out the door, said thank you and our goodbyes to the bar man and left. Now this has to be the most disgusting thing that happened….. As I was about to leave the car park, our waitress was running across the carpark shouting at us. We wind down the window and was told we hadn’t paid!!!!!! An humiliating experience in front of other customers in the car park. We replied telling her we had left it on the table, with that her colleague was running behind her with our money in his hand shouting they have!!! An awful experience and not one we will be reliving.

Nice pub but £11.50 for a large red wine is extracting the urine ! ( taking the pi#$)

We were away for a family trip, and decided to go nice and local for dinner. We arrived at the pub and it seemed promising, friendly staff. We ordered, buffalo chicken wings, tempura prawns and nachos, as starters, from what looked to be a delicious menu. We got 4 Iceland tempura prawns, 3 wings, and a bowl of nachos with squirty cream and runny guac. If the food had been 4.50/5 each dish it might have been acceptable, but at 8 a dish was certainly small and overpriced. We decided to go back to our accomodations and get dinner rather than Spend another penny on expensive food. We were also double charged for our drinks so the bill was 48 for 3 starters and two drinks ?
