Food a bit of a hit and miss. Fish & chips good. Chilli was tainted with something - not good. Beef lasagne dry. Butcombe draught beer kept to an acceptable standard. Probably should have had the Otter ale. Overall very average.

Had a lovely meal, when we were visiting from Essex, food was excellent and not over priced like alot of the surrounding pubs, staff were friendly couldn't do enough for us, lovely atmosphere with lots of surrounding history to look at, and of course a beautiful open fire would highly recommend and will definitely be going back for visit when passing again.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend in Radcot. We had a few meals in Ye Olde Swan and it was a lovely experience. The staff were very welcoming professional and helpful and the food was lovely. The owner and her daughters made us feel as though we were locals. We are now at home in Yorkshire and hope that one day we can return. Thank you. Xxx

Always been a nice pub, first visit for 30 years. Lovely people friendly and efficient.
Lovely location and set up, but the food is not good and very over priced. A ‘cheese and pickle’ baguette with grated cheese and the pickle on the side, the bread not even buttered, for £7.5 was very disappointing. My friends had chips and those were cold when they came out. All in all, nice pub for a drink, but would not come back again for lunch.

Sat out in the beer garden all night. A great place to sit and chill and watch the world slide by.Didn't try the food but am told it is very good, so that is why I only gave it 4 stars, it might deserve more.
