My friend booked a table here today when we finally got to the pub no parking and I am disabled seems you can pay to use the pub car park and go to Bicester village having used the pub for many years has live just outside Bicester won't be using again and not recommend it to anyone left my friend to meet up with friends I returned home thanks for nothing has I won't be coming back into the place again 5 cars waiting to park and car park full do not bother to go to the pub if disabled has seems they only want able body people and are fine to let all the car park to Bicester village for parking green king you need to look at problems and the discrimination to disabled people who can not walk far shame on you and Bicester village would like to hear the reply from head office of green king and don't even get 1 star but have to give stars to write a review

I've been here a few times and each was for food mostly. Service has always been nice and the food better than average for a pub. We recently came for a Christmas work meal, and the food was quite nice. The service was top-notch and entertaining. The only trouble with the atmosphere was the first 2 (out of 3) visits, the toilets haven't been top-notch. Either broken or dirty. They seemed to have it sorted when we went last but wasn't pleasant to experience, even sitting away from the toilets.

Nice place for hanging out. The bar tender there is really an amazing character, I forget his name. Always smiling with good soul. 5 star for him alone.Unfortunately, 2 ladies there are not welcoming and not even smiling. The food is OK but unfortunately the bathroom smells and can reach to some of the nearby sitting area.

Beautiful cozy restaurant, delicious food with great prices (2 for the price of 1 mains)We didn’t have a reservation but they had a table for 2The pub was clean and staff came past regularly to check if we needed anything.Just a quick walk across the road from Bicester Village.

I visited on the evening 03/10/23 and had a meal with my friend. The food, service, pricing and surroundings were all of a good standard. I received a parking fine today 04/12/23 (over 2 months since my visit) I’ve received the parking via Britannia Parking for £100! As per the signage I entered my registration on your computer/screen in the pub when I first ordered some drinks. I have tried to contact the Acorn directly, so far without success (but will keep trying) and have also appealed the fine so I’m hopeful the matter will be resolved.

Probably won't go back there anymore, been there quite a few times, some food half cooked, they never have everything what is on the menu (not just 1 things i mean)The lady in the bar black hair with black framed glasses she is very rude and arrogant, I understand some days can be stressful but if she can not handle she shouldn't work there. So she's the most reason i give negative feedback, we payed for the food but couldn't eat it and before we touched it take it back, and she was complaining, hmmBy the way for Ian we would give 5 star for sure, but this lady just ruined everything,

Disappointed is an understatement. We waited two hours for our food, and I'm pretty certain our food sat in the kitchen for at least one of those hours. When it was finally brought to our table it was disgusting, we didn't even eat it. We left hungry after waiting two hours. The chips were cold, and I mean cold cold, and the burger was the texture of rubber, the cheese on the burger was hard, and the flavor was non existent. It was advertised that it came with onion rings, by that they mean two, very small, soggy onion rings (also cold). I had high hopes for this place as it's in a very cute little building, but after today I definitely won't be going back, and will definitely not be recommending it to anyone, as it was a waste our money and time. I normally never leave a bad review, but this experience was so bad I felt compelled.

Only gave 3 for atmosphere as we were dining after lunch time and was quiet. The manager is great can hold a tune and was very quick whitted Wish we lived nearer to dine in an evening.Avoid the loos if you can, though. Only thing that let it down.Kid-friendliness: The manager was joking with our family and Rapped for daughter who was impressed. Our Server was delightful. Xx

Called in on the off chance on a Sunday evening & have to say we were made very welcome by the barstaff.Once seated the manager came out to see us, he was a lovely bloke & I had alot in common with him with him being a fellow welshieFood was hot & well worth the money. My partner had the pie with plenty of meat & I had the salmon fish cakes which was packed with plenty of salmon. Will definitely be going back, as want to try the hunters chicken

Lovely food, I'd argue the menu isn't for fussy eaters, but everything was very tasty. Easy enough to get parked and seated without a booking, the garlic bread was more rosemary than anything so something to bare in mind (I'm a fussy eater myself)

Visited in September, food was ok. Beware of parking you need to register your vehicle.Review amended as the pub have been very swift at responding to my email regarding a parking Fine received. Thank

Staff were nice. Lovely atmosphere. Food was awful. We were told the waiting time would be 30 minutes but we waited almost double that long for food that was terrible. Some parts terribly overcooked, some parts very undercooked and some parts weren’t even served. Nice for a drink, would not recommend for eating, especially Sunday roast.Parking: Don’t forget to enter your registration inside the pub!

We had pre booked a table to share dinner with some friends today. We had to chase our drinks for the table as after 20 minutes they still hadn’t arrived (glass of coke and jug of tap water). After taking our order, they said they only had enough beef for 2 portions then 5 minutes later said that they did in fact have enough beef. We waited nearly half an hour for a starter and nearly an hour and a half for our mains. The children’s pizza looked like a Goodfellas microwave pizza. We had chased our food 3 times with no one coming back to tell us an ETA or give a proper apology. A free dessert was offered for the child but never came. We were not the only table suffering this long wait. When we paid for the meal, there was no apology or offer of compensation. Really disappointed in the meal today in which is usually a nice place to eat. The person serving us was trying to lighten the mood and make a joke with us about it but to be honest, I didn’t find it funny at all and found the jokes a bit of insult to injury.

Great food. Schnitzel special was very tasty. Enjoyable place to have a drink and watch the world cup.
