Single-night stay. We had a room in the Coach house. It was clean and tidy and comfy. It had underfloor heating and got too hot overnight but nothing seemed to make it cooler. Opened a window but due to the building work to the rear, the rain bouncing off scaffolding and tarp was a touch noisy. We drank in the bar and had both dinner and breakfast in the dining room. All was lovely and they made nice accommodations with our breakfast orders.Parking and location were great for Bicester and there was free electric parking too.Feedback from my wife is the bathroom (like most hotels) was designed by a man as the lighting for the mirror is awful. If you get to choose, room 25 in the Coach House is lovely and large.

Was literally treated like Lord of the Manor, just stayed for 1 night as a coach driver we are rarely treated like this. I am definitely bringing the better half next time. Food is exquisite, decor is just wooow the history of the Manor is very interesting not to mention the beautiful grounds ?

My mum stayed mid week and we dinner on the Lavender Room. Lovely food and great service. Minor issue with the tv in her room and she was moved to the very gorgeous Bell Tower. I’ve booked to stay again already.

It's such a pity we stayed here only for one night. The place is amazing, full of history. The staff was very welcoming and kind and food couldn't have been any better. I'm sure we will stay here again in the future.Rooms: Fully equipped room with a comfy, large bed.Food & drinks: Plenty of drinks to choose and we'll prepared meals - both dinner and breakfast. Vegetarian options available.

A truly beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, with the most smiley helpful staff, good food too - but menu rather limited.Would love to go again.BUT, if you consider going to Oxford DON’T BOTHER it’s being dug up.

We got married here in May. The place is amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were amazing, and special thanks to Marak who organised everything at the hotel for us. Would highly recommend The Manor to anyone.

Firstly, a couple of points to be aware of: despite information on some hotel review websites to the contrary, there is no lift available at Weston Manor for guests with mobility issues. However, some groundfloor bedrooms are available for those who can't manage stairs easily. Also, be aware that although a 4 Star hotel with an international clientele, American Express cards are not accepted. Now to our stay: an imposing arrival to this well-maintained hotel, with ample parking close to the entrance. Friendly and efficient check-in, and throughout our stay all staff were courteous and efficient. Deserving special mention for 'going the extra mile' to be helpful were Matteo and Will. Thanks you two, it was a pleasure to meet you both. The bar stocked a wide range of drinks and we discovered a new 'favourite' locally-produced gin during this visit. The standard of cuisine was excellent and although the menu did not change over the three nights we stayed, we found choices we enjoyed each evening. Our bedroom, situated in the newly-restored Coach House, was large and immaculate with a powerful shower in a well-equipped bathroom. A thoughtful and unusual touch was the supplementary angled and extendable mirror alongside the washbasin. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The approach path to the Coach House was flanked with scented lavender and in fact ‘lavender’ was a theme throughout the hotel, where I believe the interior decoration has been overseen by the owner’s wife. She can be proud of the result. Finally, the spacious gardens with ample seating invited a relaxing time outdoors and we took ample advantage of the sunny weather during our stay. All in all a very pleasant stay and we look forward to a return in future.

A Hidden find away! The architecture inside and out is fascinating and historical. We arrived early from flight from the USA into Gatwick and hoped to at least drop off our luggage. The staff in the office were welcoming and friendly and accommodated our needs. The room was lovely, light and loads of windows. The furnishings were all brand new and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and gave us great advice on local walks and pubs. We loved the walk by the grounds with the old cart riges to the mill. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and in a lovely room with wonderful views over the grounds and surrounding farm lands. A wonderful place to stay for a special occasion. or any occasion. Thanks you!

Stayed here for 2 nights on our mini-moon and it was lovely. The beds, an ions and views were amazing. No room service though and the first room we were in had barely any water pressure but the staff were able to move us to another room. The breakfasts are lovely and if you stay you need to have a walk around the grounds.

Great service and lovely staff. Impressive Manor House and Coach house too. Room was a good size and bed very comfortable. Dressing gowns, slippers, coffee machine all made it feel more luxurious. Dining room decoration, ambience and food superb and grounds lovely to stroll around. Would have liked a full length mirror in the bedroom and maybe a proper dressing table although the large windowsill was sufficient. All meals were delicious and cooked to order. Dinner and wine on the expensive side but Bed and breakfast fantastic value for a luxurious break.

We visited for a 2 night stay, we were warmly greeted by the staff who genuinely seemed to enjoy and be passionate about the hotel. They shared information about its history , dating back to the 13th Century and the recent renovations as well as future plans. We had previously come to the hotel 6 years ago for our honeymoon so it was lovely to return and see the hotel better than ever, the newly refurbished lavender dining room was beautiful. We were lucky enough to be in the Chapel Suite, with its amazing bathroom (nice large shower and bath) and interesting decor - I loved the upholstery on the chairs. There was a great selection of teas, coffee machine and waters. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was delicious, I can recommend the steak, the breakfasts each morning were also excellent with a good choice of cooked or continental. We hoped to enjoy a swim however we’re informed that the pool was no longer in use , my fault for not checking the website, but the weather wasn’t great anyway so we didn’t miss it. Although it would be a great excuse to visit again once all the exciting work/renovations to the grounds have been completed. Thank you for a wonderful stay

We were going to a wedding nearby, so I called and asked for an earlier check in and spoke to a lady called Joy. She kindly checked and said the room could be ready earlier and when we arrived Marius had the room ready for us! When I went to change, I realised I had left my shirt at home, so the staff manged to find me a shirt to borrow! Beautiful room (14) and facilities! Next morning we slept in and got a call to remind us breakfast closed at 10, to make sure we didn't miss out. Very slick operation, I stay in a lot of hotels and this place is a slick operation!

We held an 18th Birthday party for our daughter at The Manor and had a great time. However, from the point of view of reviewing the hotel to advise other people, the experience was a combination of very, very good and pretty bad. I think if we had been staying at the hotel as a night away we would have been really disappointed. The most overriding positive is the hotel is beautiful. We used the Baron’s Hall for the party and it is a beautiful room that helped create a great atmosphere. We had access to the gardens for drinks and canapés which again was really nice and the Canapés were good. We booked several rooms and they were all lovely. A lot of money has been spent on up grading/renovating the rooms and it shows. We had a suite and it was very spacious and stylish, I would happily stay in the rooms again. However, the service did not live up to the quality of the venue and the rooms. Whilst the staff there were generally helpful and the duty manager especially so, the hotel was generally understaffed. There was a lack of finesse about the service that didn’t meet the quality of the venue or match the prices we were paying. The buffet food was distinctly average, service in the bar very, very slow with some inexperienced bar staff, who actually gave incorrect measures. Breakfast was an absolute shambles, there was no one to greet anyone, there was not enough tables. We had to move tables around so we could sit together. The breakfast was a very poor buffet, apparently they only serve cooked to order breakfast when the hotel is not busy! At times the buffet was empty and we had to keep asking for items. One of the most astounding things was that they offered standard tea and coffee and if you wanted a hot chocolate or cappuccino you had to pay more, amazing when we were paying over £300 a room and the cheapest room available was £225! Another unusual factor (in a bad way) was the tennis court, which looked nice, but when we asked if we could play we were told no, as it was only for show! In summary it is a beautiful hotel, we enjoyed the party we held there, but it is expensive and the service didn’t reflect the prices. I also think if we had been looking for a nice night away I would have been very upset, by the lack of service, quality of the breakfast etc. and this review would have probably only scored a one.
