Fabulous place to enjoy at weekends, the atmosphere including live music, so any Cocktails to experience, friendly staff who look after your every need, Oh I do sound like I own the joint, I do not but every time I go in I feel part of Carterton village family, a great place to enjoy a quite corner drink on weekdays but for food, expect nothing more than Crisp and Nuts, next door do Pizza, across the road is Italian and India restaurant's plus the usual burger, fish and chip shops and breakfast cafe's, I only visited Carterton and could not believe the choice residents from a small village had. Don't forget on their doorstep s also another village named in the Doomsday Book, Burford, I have tried most of the eateries but must confess my most enjoyable meal was at Aargon in Carterton, the best and I mean the best Jalfrezi Curry I have ever been served was in this restaurant, take what I say but if they change their chef meanwhile, I would enquire if it is the same chef they had in 09/10 2023, if the answer is yes you will not be disappointed. Visit Carterton any time you can and you will not be disappointed, for Brits north of the Midlands it is like going back in time but with todays lifestyle, hard to describe, better to say simply, 'Back to the Future', Carterton and Burford are back but G & T's plus several others in the village represent the future.

Our lovely little local with such friendly service. We love going on a Sunday afternoon for a couple of drinks before our roast dinner. We had my partners surprise 40th there and the staff were brilliant. Decorated the booth area for us and played Happy Birthday when he walked in and the staff were great sports in wearing "Simon" masks to join in with the crowd. Fab cocktails, always different ones to choose from. Our son is always made welcome and they never mind him having chips from next door to munch on whilst we finish up our drinks. Love it!Parking: Lots of free parking round the back of bar

Magic venue for special occasions, staff polite and friendly, customers also very friendly, not failing to mention of course drinks are reasonable priced especially a great range of Cocktails to meet everyone's taste.

Brilliant place, nice atmosphere, drinks are appropriately priced, staff attitude is incredible, been here twice and both times I’ve wanted to return.
Myself and my friends were enjoying a nice evening of drinking whilst here on a visit for work, the long islands were great. We thought we would go over and try another bar in town and stayed for only 5 minutes before heading back over to G&Ts, the atmosphere was amazing. The staff were really helpful and we will be definitely returning. P.S Half Price Wine is a great deal for a Wednesday too!
