“To be fair, this is a pretty standard Green King pub with a distinct lack of real ales actually available on tap when we visited.The food for the adults was good, but the reason I'm giving this pub 5 stars is for the staff.One of our party is a toddler who has SEVERE reaction to eggs and dairy, so it is very difficult for his parents to take him anywhere to eat, due to the risks of cross contamination.We informed the staff (Sam was on bar and Beth was in the kitchen) and they did an OUTSTANDING job of checking the ingredients on both the main meal (we had to change the main meal as it had a trace of egg in it, which Sam advised us of) and dessert, isolating his food and keeping us informed all the way.Absolutely superb job by Sam and Beth as the toddler had a great time eating his food, and more importantly had zero reactions, all due to the care and attention of Sam and Beth.Both are a credit to Green King.Dietary restrictions: See reviewKid-friendliness: See review”
