“It's been a while since I left any reviews on local pubs, so here we go. It's seems after a long while of not quite getting it right for the village. The Horse & Jockey is absolutely nailing what the people want. There is always a lovely atmosphere in there, the staff are wonderful and the landlady delivers time after time, some of the best nights out the village has needed in a long time. They've started serving food, which seems to be going down well with the customers There is plenty of really great live music nights scattered throughout each month, starting each month with an open mic on the 1st Wednesday of the month, followed by covers band and original music to cover every taste. There has been a joyous buzz around the village and surrounding area about the Jockey being back to how it was in its heyday. Well done to everyone involved in bringing back the last village pub to a place for socialising, smiles, a quick pint after work on a Friday!!!???”
