We had a family reunion of 11 (the Smith clan) and were welcomed to have our tea and coffee in the comfy lounge area. When that was over, my husband and I stayed on and had a great vegan and veggie breakfast ...the ladies cooking and serving were so helpful as I was revisiting my family connections (as grandfather was village policeman dyring the war and the police station was a big whitewashed cottage called The Limes...now Stanford Cottage). Clean and well designed cafe with a mix of easy chairs and dining tables. The kitchen is open to the diners and the staff quietly make excellent food. We chose the breakfast but other patrons ate a mix of sandwiches and salads. We went on a Friday at 12:15 as closing was 2pm.

Service was good, lots of things on the menu, I had a coronation chicken sandwich, it was lovely, my husband had the medium breakfast and that was also very tasty. Will definitely go there again, and maybe take some photos.
