Went with some friends as a school reunion, and it couldn’t have been a better place for us. Such friendly and kind service - they came to us straight away as we arrived bit-by-bit, and they were so attentive. Incredibly dog friendly and accommodating too, with a series of dog treats brought over just for the doggie. The food was delicious, quick and exactly what we needed. We then played darts and had delicious deserts too.All very well priced!Thank you for hosting our great day.

We travel a lot with my partner and are very facy about the food. Our previous experiences with pub dishes were mixed, however this one surprised us. We have been served with outstanding pizza and rump steak, one of the best in all our tours. Massive congratulations to Chef.We highly recommend this place. In addition the bartender also deserve recognition as it is a fantastic, friendly and chatty person.

Dominos are history. The pizzas we had at the Jockey were truly delicious and innovative. Particularly "the Secret Garden" a vegetarian option. Well done chef! And delightfully our hostess realised a couple of old fogues such as us, were struggling to complete the task in hand and without asking appeared with a takeaway box. We were only amazed that on a Friday night, early doors, there were so few others to experience what we experienced. Just beware, real ale fans, only 6x available until Tuesday, when a guest ale was due to arrive. We'll be back!

Fabulous pub grub with fish and chips better than Cornwall where I live. Great atmosphere and hosts. Family run pub who's humour and banter runs over into the bar. Good fun

Nice quiet Monday night pub, great service and good food grub that was value for money, nicely cooked and a nice selection. Good range of drinks available and dog friendly so would definitely recommend as a place to go for a quick pint and a bite.
