Very dog friendly indoors, and they serve food all day with no break/gap. We went at 3pm and had a great burger, with good beer and outstanding service.

Absolutely brilliant food. Stopped here on our way to the Fairyland Farm today and were pleaseantly surprised with the food as well as the overall vibe. The food was bursting with flavour, the staff very courteous and the vibe very serene.

I was greeted pleasantly and showed to the terrace outside overlooking the market and we planned to have lunch. Looked at the menu and for a burger alone £20-25. And it did not feel like a high end restaurant (where you might expect these high prices) more like standard pub grub. After we ordered drinks, I just got the vibe that it wasn’t going to be a great meal - so we decided to just have drinks and find somewhere else nearby for food. Our drinks were flat, but we weren’t really too bothered until we saw the bill. £10 for 2 soft drinks. I still cannot believe that it can cost £5 for a coke!

We tried B&T after seeing the menu, it being nearby and disregarding some of the negative reviews and we’re very glad we did! As a table of 3 with a dog, we were made to feel very welcome with them accommodating an outside table given the temperatures of a late summer in September. There are a number of negative reviews on here about the prices and the food but ours was delicious and the prices were very fair for the portion sizes and general additional cost of things these days! The burgers were AMAZING and came with a big portion of chips, the steaks were beautifully cooked and everything was quick and served with a smile. I can understand how £19 may seem steep for a burger and chips but they make a point of sourcing the meat and buns locally, and everything was cooked beautifully. In an average pub you’d expect to pay around £15 for a burger and chips (i’m talking spoons prices..) so if you’re looking for a good meal in a nice location definitely give B&T a go! I think some people have just forgotten how much food costs these days?!

Stopped here for a drink on the way to the cinema. The manager don’t know his name tall blonde guy was so accommodating very friendly and remarkable service after the cinema we wanted a kebab :-) and I asked him if he could give me £20 cash on my card and he did this guy is a star totally with it. Good luck to him go here for a drink or food it’s brilliant

Called in for a quick pint whilst waiting to visit diddly squat farm. Prices were more expensive than we are use to but given where it's located I guess that's expected. Great staff and very welcoming we would definitely call here again.

A nice and friendly place for brunch. Good seating and spacious. We ordered two full English breakfasts and some pancakes for our two boys. Both the breakfasts (large and small) came with small sausages and the portion size was ok. For £14.50 I would expect a more substantial portion. Strangely there was a 10% service charge added to the bill also, which I am not accustomed to for four people.

Today I visited Chipping Norton with a group of friends. We called in at Bitter & Twisted at 1 Middle Row where I requested a half pint of Wye Valley HPA 4.0%. I was horrified to be asked for £3.55. Yes, you read that right. Three pounds fifty-five pence for half a pint of real ale. This equates to £7.10 for a pint, where if you buy a pitcher, which is four pints, you pay £5.00 per pint. This is the most outrageous and blatant overpricing I have ever come across. Not to mention total disdain for the customer who chooses to drink in small volumes. Shame on them. This company policy requires a serious rethink. Needless to say, I will not be visiting Bitter & Twisted again in the foreseeable future.

Friendly staff and good quality food. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Nice setting, but way overpriced - £200 for 2 starters & 4 mains (and that’s with only 2 of us drinking alcohol!). The service was very slow too, but it’s the ridiculous prices that will prevent us from returning. A real shame because our teens loved it!

Steak was very chewy. Chips were delicious. Fried egg cooked perfectly. Nice staff, nice bar area.

A lovely location with welcoming staff. Good service and great food, if a little on the steep side price wise (over £20 for a burger and fries - admittedly delicious but no salad or slaw etc). Would definitely recommend!

Franken burger was terrible, don’t get it. Looks lovely but taste was awful and VERY EXPENSIVE. £30 per burger. Wife had hen burger which was fairly nice but still far too expensive.

Gammon overcooked bitter, eggs overcooked chips poor. They have been better in the past perhaps it was an off night.
