We spent several hours here today on what was a VERY busy day. Staff were incredible and dealt with some very impatient customers during the time we were there with professionalism and kindness. Pottery painting was a lovely experience with my daughters to kick start the Easter holiday and we all left with smiles on our faces. We only had egg on toast and ice cream today, but all of the food coming out for other customers looked and smelt awesome, with generous portion sizes and steaming hot, and my coffee was delicious too. Thank you ladies - we will be back!

My sister and I had a lovely visit here. A toasty and a hot chocolate and they were all delicious. The lady who served us was friendly. I will definitely go back. Thanks for a nice visit.

Ate a slice of chocolate cake, it was dry and stale. I told the staff member before Rachel comes on here with her passive aggressive tone telling me I should have complained at the time. Well I did and the member of staff didn't know what to do and eventually I left in frustration. Fresh cakes would be nice for those prices.

I think it's a lovely cafe and is perfect to go with your little one/ a toddler. The play area has a good selection and my daughter enjoyed it. I would definitely go again butI would not go again for the cake- it looked like it was baked a few days ago and didn't taste very fresh/nice anymore. I don't mind having a cake that isn't freshly baked as I don't like wasting food but it should be advertised like that and sold for half price.Kid-friendliness: Great for toddlers

Amazing coffee, amazing cakes and the vegetarian options are awesome too.

Coffee tasted burnt. Probably have it extracting for too long. It took 10 minuets for 1 coffee to arrive, then a further 6 minuets for the second coffee (that was forgotten). The music playing was either really bad quality or it has a bad connection... It kept stopping and starting.Awful.

I've been here twice now, enticed by the photos and events advertised on social media. I really want to like it but unfortunately I'm always really disappointed by the food... At 10am there were only a couple of slices of cake left and the one I ordered was dry. The hot chocolate was cheap and watery (not rich and velvety) and it came in such a large heavy glass mug I couldn't lift it, and it didn't fit the saucer. We came to paint pottery which was lots of fun. The young staff member on the till wasn't helpful and kept telling us to read instructions from a paper plate, which was in tiny handwriting and you couldn't get close to due to the play area. Other customers struggled with this too but we all helped each other and there was a nice community feel. The play area for children is great and selection of items is well thought out, but it's location is quite chaotic being by the till and children kept running into me and I couldn't hear the staff member whilst I tried to order! Otherwise a good selection of toys to amuse children from ages 0-6.I really hope they replace their sofas soon, they are very uncomfortable, but I love that they have a few different options for seating - low coffee tables, high tables, longer tables for bigger groups. And the new wallpaper refurb looks great. Can tell a lot of love and care goes into the café, just a few more finishing touches could make it a better quality experience.
