We strongly recommend Faringdon Travelodge. Great staff, clean and well appointed rooms, quiet, lovely breakfasts, all tastes catered for, varied menu for dinner, beautifully presented and delicious. Very much enjoyed our two night stay.

Lovely and clean, staff were very kind and helpful, breakfast was lovely! Will be staying again!? Nothing to fault, the super rooms are great, the kitkat and galaxy’s are a great touch! Arvie was lovely on reception on arrival.

Pillows were plump, coffee was hot, but the true hero of this story was Dan, the nighttime supervisor. Upon arriving at the Faringdon Travelodge, Cotswolds, we were greeted by Dan’s cheery disposition on the night time intercom. His smile put us at ease immediately. After a small mix up with our booking, Dan soon went above and beyond to make sure our stay lived up to our expectations, he was so helpful I very nearly forgot about the startling news of the nationwide shortage of the Travelodge Pancake. After the small speed bump of no vegetarian sausages at breakfast, we still left with a smile on our faces. All thanks to Dan. The nighttime supervisor.

I stayed at the Travelodge Faringdon for business and was so impressed by the service I received from Arvie that I felt I had to write a review. I was looking for somewhere for dinner on a Monday night with the group of people I was staying with and Arvie recommended a number of restaurants which looked superb but were unfortunately closed. Arvie then sought out an available restaurant (which was very good!) and offered my group directions to the nearest bus stop which would take us to our destination. Arvie was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay and made my experience all the more enjoyable! Thanks Arvie for an amazing stay- I’ve not met such an engaging, proactive and helpful reception team member at hotels costing many more times what I paid for my stay at the Travelodge Faringdon!

My car needed attention, Danial, behind the desk, realised our room was the furthest from the exit, and because I had to go back and for, waiting for the AA, and being over 80, with stiff legs, he changed our room to near the exit. Very thoughtful and much appreciated.

Had a lovely stay at this travel lodge, Pam behind the Reception desk was very helpful and polite the breakfast is spot on just what you need to start the day I would highly recommend staying here everything you need.

Relaxing stay. Very comfortable, clean room. Very new hotel in a good position, close to Cotswold villages and various amenities. Helpful and friendly staff. Stayed in an upgraded room with good facilities.

Room was spotless, bed comfy and it had a bath, hoorah! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food and drink choice and quality decent. Restaurant/bar area could do with a bit more atmosphere. Felt a bit like a hospital canteen. Good location.

Nothing was to much of a problem. Daniel was super helpful, accomodating our needs when we had to leave early before breakfast time. Clean, simple, quiet hotel. Great stay. Highly recommend for a family budget trip.

The drinks were definitely not worth the £100 parking ticket received afterwards. Will not return for this reason and would advise others to avoid!

Charged £100 for parking while getting a coffee and lunch with my twins. My friend whom I met with her baby was charged also. Beware 60 minutes maximum. The time it takes alone to get out the car and back into the car with twins get them settled in high chairs and fed already runs over the 60 minutes you are allowed to park. It is daylight robbery and I will not be back.
