4B Market Pl, FaringdonI called in for coffee, but the menu looked really good so decided to have lunch. Ordered beef rendang, and so glad I did. Absolutely delicious and was served with rice and beautifully cooked vegetables. The beef was so tender, and the whole experience was way above my expectations for a small coffee shop. I’m not sure, but I think the dish cost £13–£14. There are no vegan options, which doesn’t bother me, but I have vegans in my family so it’ll stay my secret. ??

As an Asian restaurant it offers an exciting blend of curry / Indian / Chinese / Thai food. The menu is insane, amazing. You would need to visit many times to get to sample everything, I’m going to do my best. The ambiance is warm, relaxing and very professional. The setting, decor and atmosphere is brilliant. The staff are knowledgeable, very smart, very friendly and make the whole experience just perfect. We were looked after by Oli as well as several others. The service was outstanding thank you very much. I can’t believe we only live 15 minutes away and haven’t been here before, it’s amazing! ?

Answered all our questions and advised on the volume of food! Every dish we had was a delight. We were lucky enough to sit upstairs this evening - So cute and intimate. Service excellent. Looking forward to coming back again. We had 5 plentiful dishes and a bottle of wine.

Buckland, FaringdonLovey quaint tavern in the Oxfordshire countryside. The restaurant is very welcoming, the wooden beams adds to the character. The tables are nicely spaced out so that you are not too close to each other. The tavern is well staffed and they are extremely friendly, always around to check to make sure everyone is ok.
We went for Sunday lunch. The meat was good quality, tender and plentiful. We had a great meal and would highly recommend.

Sheffords Bakery
9 London St, FaringdonRecently took a short family break visiting lots of the little villages around the Cotswolds. We based ourself in Faringdon.
One afternoon we happened to pass this little bakery, as soon as we stepped in, it felt like stepping back in time, in the best possible way.
We could have bought one of everything in the shop, they all looked amazing, we selected a small assortment then headed back to our hotel.
They were all as good as they looked.
So a couple of days later we headed back there early to stock up on filled cobs and treats to have as we headed around the Castle Combe area for the day.
The lady running the bakery was absolutely lovely, dealt with us and our kids really friendly, then chatted about various other places we should visit if we had chance.
If we lived near by we would definitely pop in for a regular treat.

The Eagle Tavern
Little Coxwell, FaringdonStayed one night in a twin room. It might not be the flashiest hotel but it’s comfy and clean. We didn’t stay for breakfast (rather wish we had reading the reviews) but the hotel seemed quiet and when we got back from the wedding we attended at 10pm the place had closed up for the night which surprised us. It could do with a slight bit of TLC externally but flowers are a nice touch.
That said I wouldn’t put anyone off and I would 100% return. Very peaceful nights sleep and comfortable bed too.

Fernham, FaringdonCame for the PIES! So great to find a pub that does amazing pies stuffed full! The options on toppings (and I do mean toppings! Stacked like a tower) made it feel so naughty, mash, gravy, peas, cheese!!
Lovely interior too, they do several special food nights, but pie night is so far my fav.

The White Horse
Marsh Way, Woolstone, FaringdonA beautiful place to take a break when visiting the ancient sites of the Uffington White Horse, Hillfort, Dragon Ridge and Wayland's Smithy.
We walked in, no prior booking, got a great table (for four) under the low beams, and had excellent food.
Lovely welcoming staff.
All round a great experience in a beautiful setting.

Whilst the food and drinks are a little bit overpriced,they are amazing with plenty to choose from,you can also get a free small hot chocolate called a 'babychino' which I really like. There is also free Wi-Fi and this place is fully accessible for wheelchair users. I have been going here for years with family,friends,romantic partners,I've seen people getting work done here too,you can do quite a lot here and whilst you're in town.
If you live around the area,or are just visiting,I 100% recommend this coffee shop

The quality was excellent — generous toppings, a perfectly cooked base, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Everything tasted well balanced, not overly greasy, and full of flavour. You can tell care has gone into both the preparation and cooking. The sides were just as good,.
Customer service was also very good. The staff were polite, friendly, and professional, and the order was handled efficiently without any issues. It’s refreshing to order from a place that clearly values consistency and customer satisfaction.
