I had a fantastic experience at this pub B&B! The staff went above and beyond by reserving a table for me on a busy night without even asking. The friendly atmosphere made every visit a pleasure. The room was also incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend!

Absolutely nothing to fault with this pub. Friendly staff, good selection of beer, and very tasty food. Just don't order the double burger if you want to be able to finish your chips - it's too tasty to not stuff yourself.

Nice pub, pleasant staff and good cider on tap but the food was, honestly and I feel a bit bad saying it, rubbish. Tasteless burnt plain burger for £19, maybe it was an off day but unlikely to return to find out.

Marcus and his team were wonderful and very helpful. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and hope to come back very soon.(The breakfast is to die for!)Rooms: Nice room, felt like a home away from home. They kindly kept me caffeinated like it's nobody's business ?Safety: Safe location. As a female solo traveller, I could not have asked for a better place to stay!Walkability: Countryside. Bring some wellies and finish your walk with a lovely meal in the pub!Food & drinks: Fantastic, freshly prepped breakfast. Probably the best scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel!Noteworthy details: The entire team always has a smile on their face and are really keen to make your stay as homely, comfortable and great as possible.

Really nice independent pub with accommodation. Our room was comfortable and clean and we could just make out the White Horse of Uffington from the Window.We enjoyed a nice evening meal in a friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff - we recommend.
The luxury of this place is in the staff. No swanky walk in showers but wonderful reception from all the staff. The food is typical pies, sausages, etc BUT, untypical, they are proper pies and sausages from the local butcher. The full English will set you up for the day. 1/2 hr from Oxford/Cotswolds - highly recommended.

We just stopped for food on a long car journeyThe 'Bloody Lovely' sausages and mash was excellent - 2 very happy kids!The adults and the beef burger and we're very impressed'i loved it'The chips were also really good as was the homemade aioli coleslawService was excellent ?Even got mint chocolates at the end

Very nice place, kind and lovely staff, very nice room. If you want to be delt with like family, this is the place to be. Even the Locals deal with you like you are one of their own. Visited the white horse as well. If i could i gave 6 stars.Rooms: I had room 5, re-decorated, very well done. Calm colors, good bed.Nearby activities: The white horse a 3000 year old paint in the ground. Nice hike and great view when it doesn't rain.Food & drinks: Nice menucard. Very good to eat, compliments to the chef!Noteworthy details: Lovely owners, you can talk to them freelee. They have a golden hart and always willing to help you out.

24 members of a Gloucester based Rotary Club visited for lunch after a tour of the nearby Westmill Wind & Solar Farm. We were not disappointed. We had the function room to ourselves and chose a variety of main courses: steak & ale pie, Hunters chicken, fish & chips, bloody lovely sausages, roasted peppers etc. Nothing but praise for all of them. The staff were very attentive and friendly which made for a really good day out. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Thanks go to Markus and the team for looking after us so well.
