The low average is really undeserved, it’s good food at a reasonable price nowadays, and thanks to the reviews in some part I imagine, very fast delivery.Vegetarian options: They’re apparently great, haven’t had personally but my family have.

We Only had chips to go with our Chinese, as we only like traditional chips from a chip shop, glad we did after reading the reviews on here, otherwise it may have been a 1 star. Most of the chips whent in the bin, just didn't taste right.

Never ordering from here again! Only done it because my partner was ordering a curry and I didn’t want to walk to get fish and chips.Ended up with food poisoning! I didn’t even eat half the meal I had, made me feel sick instantly, chips were horrible and chicken burger wasn’t much better.

Anaemic barely cooked chips with soggy battered cod, served barely warm with insufficient salt. Nasty odd tasting battered sausage. Service without a smile. Truly an abortion of a chippy. The only thing it had going for it was that it was open when all the others were shut. The Rainbow fish bar has been the final nail in the coffin for me living in Faringdon. It was the kick I needed to do something with my life. I'm now looking to relocate to Whitby, where fish and chips are done properly. Chips were not cooked properly but fish was okay and other items, they said they receive a lot of complaints when we were talking with them whilst waiting, maybe they should act on those complaints and resolve the issues, but friendly staff, couldn’t help us enough…

This place is grim 0* ordered kids fishcake a chips kids meal to find human hair cooked into the fishcake I had chips an chilli con’carnie again black hairs on my chips. It went straight in the bin tried contacting by phone no answer an looking at reviews falls on deaf ears. This isn’t the first time this has happened with human hair found in the food. This may get deleted. But is the truth an you need to get up to standard on good food hygiene.

Lovely little family run place. Their pizza is quite frankly some of the best take away pizza I've had. It's gotten to the point where my fat self ends up ordering 2 pizzas each time, pepperoni and Hawaiian. Eat two slices at once like a sandwich for the perfect union of salty, sweet greasy amazingness. Also they've got the old Pukka pie ads on the walls, love em.

I tried this fish and chip shop a while ago and was disgusted at the food quality, chips soggy, and fish the same. Decide to give it another go, this time even worse. Will now certainly avoid this place, there are others far superior to this establishment.

Visiting Farringdon for the day on Tuesday. Decided on the lunch time special and thought it was excellent value for money. Generous amount of chips, which were cooked to order and tasty fish
