Pretty good cafe at Goring. Food was good and so was the ambience. I tried the Shakshuka and the minty morning smoothie. Both were quite good.

As cyclists we always stop here for a caffeine hit and sugar punch before hitting the quad killer called Streatley Hill. Great little cafe, very pleasant staff and a perfect location!.....tres bon!!....

Delicious food and the service is always lovely. It’s very popular so make sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.

A lovely little cafe with high quality food and decent coffee. The seating out the front catches the morning sun. Highly recommend the carrot cake!

Loved it. Friendly staff. Simple light lunches. Super cakes and coffee. On street parking outside. Not sure whether there is a nearby carpark.

A well known and very popular cafe 100 metre's from river Thames with enthusiastic and varied clientele serving high quality food and beverages a must visit if in the area.

Out for a walk in the Goring area, we stopped for lunch at this excellent cafe. The choice of food was wide and all looked good quality. The atmosphere was pleasant and relatively cool on this baking day! The burger and chips was very tasty and served with a delicious salad; there is also plenty for the vegetarian. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will return.

It was very pleasant stopping by, unfortunately we have been there too late to try the food. Coffee and cake was delicious definitely will comeback ;)

We had high hopes for the visit. We stayed for lunch and coffee. We first waited 15 minutes to be served even though they were a few members of staff on a quiet time of the day. Once we ordered the food was 'okay'.We were keen to take a cake home with us but curious as to what cake was what due to not being labelled and having 10 different cakes on display. The member of staff appeared not the most impressed with our questioning of the cakes. When we got to try our cakes, they were lovely and we were glad we bought them.

Visited this afternoon on lunch break hoping for a quick bite to eat. Sandwich's and cake only , which is fine. However, the sandwiches are so thick and dry it took a while to eat, and wasn't very enjoyable which was a shame. Defo needs to be improved, a salad or a few crisps would be nice on the side also. The cake is lovely and fresh though, so recommend for tea and cake. There is a strange smell in the cafe, I don't know if it's from the toilet but not very pleasant when you are eating in. The decor and seating could be improved, for a more cozy feel.

Top tips:(1) Do not sit down without first stress testing the chairs and table(2) Avoid if you're at all unsteady on your feetLUNCHTIME THURSDAY:I sat outside on metal fold-up chair that gave way under me. I fell sideways onto my hands and knees.Customers on neighbouring tables helped me to my feet. Manager came out to check I was ok then promptly went back inside. At first I said I was ok, as you do - but I felt shaken.Lifting up the chair I found the bolt holding the seat in place was missing.Sitting down on another chair - I tested it first! - I could feel my knee was grazed. Looking down, my trousers had been torn.Went in to find the Manager, but <Chair had been sat on all morning, just one of those things. If you like, write to the owner!>No! It's about £10 to patch a knee, far more to replace trousers.A Manager who takes responsibility should be empowered to recompense for accidents on the premises. Was this accident logged?Customer care us not a priority here.

Nice place with good food. Would be 5 stars if not for the abrupt, almost surly, manner of one of the staff, who I think may be the owner or manager. I’ve had the same experience from her on two occasions now, so I can’t put it down to a one-off. Otherwise, all good.
