The Beetle & Wedge Boathouse, Ferry Ln, Moulsford, WallingfordSearched through for a nice weekend lunch by the river and had a great time. Fish and chips was just the right crisp out and soft sea bass nicely cooked within. Fries were yum but the drinks were best - the champagne cocktail and the Good Old Boy ale from the brewery down the road. Service was excellent we were very well looked after right from the time we stepped in. Serviced efficiently with a smile and fairly quick. The place was buzzing and people were having a great time. Toilets are nice and clean. There is outside seating - must be packed in the summer! Parking is a bit tight but the trip from SW London was worth it! Going back in the summer with a reservation

9, The Arcade, 9 High St, Goring, ReadingViv’s in Goring is a quiet and cozy café, perfect for a relaxing break. The atmosphere is peaceful and not crowded, which makes it an ideal spot to enjoy your drink comfortably. The staff were professional, polite, and very welcoming, creating a pleasant experience from the moment I arrived. I ordered an espresso, a cappuccino, and a slice of cake, and all of them were excellent. The coffee was well-balanced and the cake was fresh and delicious. Another great point is the reasonable pricing, which makes the overall experience even better. Viv’s is definitely a great place for a quality coffee and a calm, enjoyable visit.

The Swan at Streatley
The Swan at, High St, Streatley on ThamesHad a lovely stay at the Swan at Streatley with my girlfriend. We booked the suite, and the room was huge and well-stocked with great amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a relaxing night. However, the soundproofing could be improved – we could hear footsteps, banging from the neighboring room, and workmen in the morning, which unfortunately woke us up. Overall, a nice experience but the noise was a bit disruptive.
