Delicious food and wine, beautiful setting, good atmosphere and a warm welcome and excellent service from Fatima! Thank you. So sad to hear it's closing.. this place has been a firm favourite (of the whole family) for many years. A big loss for Henley.

The afternoon tea selection here was very good. We liked the croque monsieur ( a nice change from the usual sandwiches) and the cake selection was delicious. Excellent service from Fatima.

That restaurant provides the worst expensive food that I have never had before. The chicken was dried and salty. The steak was tough like leather even I chose the pink one rather than the well done (two choices only).

Person who greated us forgot to give us menus. The tall server was working really hard. Overall seemed under staffed.Sadly our chocolate fondants were over cooked. As of atmosphere, it was very dark. Menus with small writing, and dark lighting do not mix.

We went to Cafe Rouge for an Afternoon Tea which we received as a gift. We were looked after by Fatima and Ursula who were very nice. The tea arrived and consisted of a collection of toasted sandwiches, scones and cakes all of which were very fresh and tasty. We also had a refill of hot drinks which were served promptly. A very nice experience thank you!

One of Henley’s gems! Been here 20 years we heard today! Fabulous breakfast and Fatima is super lovely! Nothing was too much trouble. And reasonably priced too! Highly recommend!

If you like rude staff and terrible customer service - then this is the place to go. Utter toilet.

Lovely lunch. Our server Fatima, was really friendly, quick to serve us our food and drinks and regularly checked that everything was good and we had all we needed. Highly recommended.

I used to love going for the breakfasts but was a bit disappointed recently as it is not as good. I guess no one has escaped the credit crunch. Even the croissants, which were my son said were the best of all the cafes, have got smaller.

Overpriced and very average food, served by a waiter who was do his best to deliver the authentic French experience (curt, dismissive) without the positive part of efficiency and competence. Would not recommend

Very bad breakfast. I ordered an avocado toast for £8 and it was the tiniest toast I've had in a cafe plus it was topped with onion, which did say on the menu and is not what I wanted. Service was rude. Would not recommend at all.
