We wanted fish and chips. The fish was soggy although freshly cooked. Batter was like wet paper. The chips, generous portion, were again soggy. Altogether a disappointment, won’t be going there again

No one in my everlasting search has made, consistently, noodles this good.I can’t say anything about any of the other dishes, but with noodles this amazing why would I?!Believe me when I say I’ve searched far far far and wide to find some good Chow Mein.These noodles are the best thing about Henley.***EDIT***I’ve had the same noodle dish maybe seven times since this review (don’t judge me) - but having travelled the world, having tasted how a chow mein should be like, I definitely have the badge to say that these guys are amazing.This isn’t based on one review where a pissed up douche decided he needed some douche bag sweet and sour with his douche bag chips..this chick knows her noodles.These guys know what they’re doing.I’ve searched for the absolute best chow mein. Found it in these guys x

Went to get a take away of 2 saveloy, one cod and portion of chips. Without asking the fish was in with the chips and when you attempted to take the fish from the chips it just all fell apart. Not sure it was cooked properly anyway but it was simply awful. Could not eat the fish and whilst my daughter had the saveloy and a few fish covered chips we will never return to this place. I am not sure if it’s a Chinese take away (would not chance it) or is meant to be a fish and chip shop. If it is then based on what we had served it needs to be closed to put everyone out of their misery. Easily and without question the worst fish and chip place in Henley and probably the Uk. Avoid unless you want to pay for absolutely awful food (cash only says it all as well, even the kebab places take cards now a days).

I popped in for a portion of chips only (thank god) ! I’m so happy I didn’t have anything with any meat in it. Most of the food was binned ! A work colleague bought fish and chips and his fish was all slimy . The smell of the food was horrendous and I’ve felt rough ever since. I must check in with my colleague to check if he is still alive. Literally go anywhere else . The worst food I’ve ever eaten .

Ordered 2 meals. Singapore fried rice & house chow mein. The rice was of a yellow appearance, void of any taste or meat. The chow mein was plain, again void of much meat but if your a vegetarian great as there was plenty of the bulked greens. Come on Henley, can't you do better than this?
Surprisingly good food given this is a small back street shop. Very quick to prepare a delicious meal and sensibly priced.

The WORST Chinese takeaway. They put a menu through the door which looked fresh and professional - very different to the previous encounter where I was greeted in the shop with someone passing my food wearing dirty flip flops. So I thought I’d try it again. It was awful. No more can be said. Grease heaven (or hell as it was in my case). Took one mouthful and chucked the rest in the bin. Avoid at all costs - I won’t make the same mistake a third time. Horrible.

Being 71 years of age and my hobby is food and travel. I have eaten chinese from very many Chinese establishments around the UK. I am sorry to say that the Full House is by far the worst I have visited. Started with very watery hot and sour that had very little meat or other solids in it. Second course chicken satay skewers, the sauce was acceptable but I think the chicken was as old as me as it was so tough. Finally House special chow mein, tasteless and tough cheap meat. Over half of each course was discarded, never agail.
