Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Discriminatory Treatment at MagoosOur group was subjected to discriminatory treatment based on a racially biased accusation made by a woman at your premises. Our friend was falsely accused of attempting to steal, which ultimately resulted in our removal from the premises.As patrons of Magoos we were shocked and deeply troubled by the handling of this situation. Not only was the accusation baseless and unfounded, but the subsequent action taken against us was unjust and discriminatory. The decision to expel us based on the word of one individual without proper investigation or evidence is completely unacceptable and goes against the principles of fairness and equality.We hold Magoos accountable for upholding a safe and welcoming environment for all customers, regardless of their race or background. Discrimination of any form should not be tolerated in any establishment, and we expect a prompt and appropriate response to address this issue. Very rude staff. They seemed to be arguing with every customer about weather they had paid entry. I saw one couple pay for their entry and then shortly after get kicked out because the manager said they hadn’t paid. I saw them pay at the door. There are a lot of dirty scams going on in this establishment. Every time I go here it feels like I’m getting hustled abroad!

Bouncer kicked two of us out for opening the door to the outdoor area, after our group of 8 had paid £20 a head to enter (the only marking on the door says "PUSH TO OPEN" and there was no signage to say 'do not open'). The same bouncer then lied to Holly, the manager, in front of us claiming we were aggressive and messing around in the bar's garden. I am sure you have CCTV cameras and the ability to check if your staff lie to your face or not. Have visited 'Magoos' many times in the past whilst attending HRR, and have even recommended to friends - neither will happen in future.

Myself and 8 girlfriends came in yesterday late afternoon as we were celebrating a 43rd birthday. We were in high spirits but only 4 drinks in and we'd just had a large meal so far from drunk. The place was empty but from the offset the guy behind the bar was unwelcoming. My friends went to use the loo and my friend saw a panda mask hung up in the opening of a room with an open door and put it on to come downstairs. She was just being silly and mischievous but causing no harm. The guy behind the bar, came over and physically snatch it off her head and stated he was annoyed as it was in the office. She didn't realise that as door was open and she hadn't gone that far in! Despite tmour apologies he remained hostile and we left. The guy who's name I believe was Sam. Could have easily asked for the mask and explained it was in a room that's meant to be for staff only but his handling of the situation was aggressive and lost them a good bit of money during a quiet Time of day.
