After ordering through Deliveroo I have had a good service but before you look away from my review be rest assured. ITS PIZZA EXPRESSES FAULT!! Not Deliveroo’s.From the start of ordering from pizza express.Firstly: ordering off their menu online, the pizzas arrived without the toppings they offered, for example, no spinach on a chicken pizza, or no side when ordered.Secondly, pizza arriving not even sliced which sounds petty but this is what they provide and did not do.Thirdly and more to the point, pizza ordered and I phoned in to explain how I wasn’t happy in the past and was prepared to order again to give a third chance. Spoke with the General Manager directly! She explained they will carry out all work to the highest standard. The pizza arrived crumpled up and stuffed into the box. They claimed it was the rough delivery from Deliveroo which you can’t imagine as even if the box was turned up-side down in transportation the condition of it would never end up like this.This was retaliation from the staff I imagine as I complained about a previous order being sent out without the toppings ordered or the side dish of food. This is so un-professional and guess what they won’t be getting away with this. The head office will be getting a full complaint.Basically stop skimping out with your low paid staff and do the job properly.I’ve been running my business long enough to see the shoddy work.Pizza Express Henley has gone down will. Take my word for it.

An excellent family evening meal, great pizzas and most definitely excellent service with a smile from the delightful Rita. We came away pleasantly satisfied from the great food and uplifted by Rita’s lovely personality and efficient service. She is most definitely an asset to Pizza Express and we look forward to returning.

The restaurant is a bit 'tired' and lacks atmosphere...it could really do with a refurb. The food was nice and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We'd eat there again.

We felt like a day out in Henley-On-Thames and use our Tesco vouchers for lunch, so downloaded the PizzaExpress app to get free doe balls to be told cannot use when using Tesco vouchers, Anyway we ordered our food a chicken salad and a La Cuban pizza, it didn’t take long for it to arrive salad looks nice but how can a salad go wrong the pizza on the other hand was lacking toppings about 5 pieces of meat and a chopped tomato on top, to be honest for £16 it wasn’t good value, even with the vouchers. You get more topping on a £2.99 pizza from AldiWill not return

A rather small Pizza Express off the main drag situated on the corner. I believe there may have been an upstairs, but we sat downstairs.There didn't appear to be enough staff for the amount of guests.I am glad we booked as I am not sure we would have been able to eat here otherwise.The food was very good. We had Dough Balls starter and then the BBQ Burnt Ends Romana Pizza and Carbonara Pizza Express Al Forno.. the food was really lovely, other than some ends of the pasta being burnt.The service was slow, we had to ask a couple of times for our jug of water and it felt a while to order and get our food.It was a bustling busy place which caused it to be rather noisy.Luckily I checked our bill as we had been charged for an item we didn't order or have. When I pointed this out the girl said she had realised she had done this and then forgot to remove it..Overall, worth a visit for the food, but be prepared, you may have a wait on your hands.
The prices were fairly average for the food and drinks, however the service was very poor. Our mains arrived at the table with the starter plates having been forgotten to be cleared, an hour after we ordered. They also forgot our garlic bread side, we asked for some salad as stated on the menu to be on the leggarra pizza and this was just a pile of leaves. This salad was then added to our bill, which I felt was poor service. The waitress was generally polite but made no real effort to apologise or rectify the situation,Generally very average in food quality and serviceWould not recommend

Sunday lunchtime:Food was fine and the wait for the food was okService was terrible, seemed like a lot of waiting staff but no one interested in helping, staff on mobile phones etc. Also rude, felt like we were being shouted at, no calm welcoming mannerism Also didn't say goodbye.No tip was given and we won't be coming back anytime soon

Always love pizza express, and had an especially good experience at the Henley restaurant recently. Came in for last minute dinner and drinks with friends the other week. We felt welcome upon arrival and were shown to a lovely cosy corner seat. The waitress was so fun and lovely, and had a laugh with us all making us feel very welcome. The service was brilliant, checking back and talking orders was all perfect. Brilliant food and drinks and all in all a lovely evening. Will be back. Thankyou to the team , we had a lovely evening.

Another excellent early dinner here with our young Son. Service was superb, pizzas were perfect. They were very busy on the Saturday evening we visited but if you’re reasonable and appreciate when it’s busy you might have to wait a little…we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and visit. We regularly use this venue as our preferred Pizza Express location. See you soon. ?
