Firstly we were seated in the garden room but with the pianist, it was just a little too loud to have a conversation, so following a request, we were able to move to the dining room which was far better for us. Emma served us with great humour and attention and made our Sunday roast even better with that experience.

My husband and I came in for a late lunch. The whole place was so warm and inviting, the menu looked great. Its xmas time so very xmas and beautifully decorated. We were sat at a lovely table. It took our server forever to take our order, we waited 45 minutes for our food. No explanation as why it took so long as they didn't seem very busy. If we had been alerted, we probably would not have stayed. Our food came finally. My husband's was really good, he had pizza. Mine on the other hand was really not good. Ordered the Wagyu burger Medium. Got a dry, overcooked hockey Puck. For £17!. Decided not to leave a tip as the service was as lacklustre as my food. Will not return. Spent Christmas Day at this wonderful location with 11 family and friends. Beautifully decorated with fantastic service by the lovely Stef and other colleagues. Food was fabulous. Will definitely return again.

Went to the bull for a work Christmas meal and my experience was rather lacking.The food was not to my taste. the only vegetarian option was a vegan Wellington off the set Christmas menu and was a beetroot wrapped in pastry. The veg and potatoes came out cold too.The service was shocking, the server was more interested in getting the tables drinks order in, the food was served over an hour after we arrived and not one employee checked in after the food was served and also no one asked why I had left almost an entire meal on my plate.I've give 4 stars for atmosphere because it was a work event, my colleagues made it enjoyable for me.I was not impressed! And will not be returning.

Wow what an amazing meal! Our food was delicious, seriously the best in Henley! Not to mention how gorgeous the venue is - a truly exquisite courtyard space with a lovely ambience. The highlight of our evening was our waitress Stefania who went above and beyond for us! We will definitely be back very very VERY soon!!!

Luckily the atmosphere was great with a live band playing and people dancing.As mentioned the food took a while to come out and it seemed the timings were a bit off when it did come out as some food was warm but not hot, one of the fish dishes seemed undercooked.Flavourwise the food was great and on a quieter night I'm sure it would have been spot on. Dealing with the timings of the food was all that was holding this place back. Would visit again.Additional bonus: dog friendly

I can't wait to return to this lovely resturant. It was suprising large inside and had a lovely ambience because there was a fountain and live music. My waiter Josh was very attentive and friendly. Food service was very fast, but still managed to be cooked to perfection - my roast chicken was very succulent. I look forward to exploring more of their menu in future visits.

My wife and I popped in for lunch. Absolutely incredible place - the menu is one of the best I’ve seen for a lunchtime! The Italian meringue might be one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! Service was brilliant (Emma was great!) - really attentive, but not too intrusive. Great setting too. Would recommend to anyone. We’ll be back!
