What a splendid Mother's Day Tea we had. Very tasty sandwich,s ,& lovely Cakes, Sausage Roll and Scones, with a garnish of salad & Crisps. Tea & food served in lovely bone china. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Who provided us with a box to take home ,items of food we had no room for. Prosecco is available, I would rank this as good, if not better than a tea at a well known Castle. Will have to go back to Thrupp for another.

Great for a bite and a coffee. Outside seating is lovely in the sunshine. Still has free parking if you are earing there.

Food tasted nice but £25 for four small sandwiches made from two pieces of bread, a scone, a slice of cake and a tea is absolutely outrageous. Staff were friendly. Facilities inside are tiny. Not much space for more than a dozen people inside and maybe twenty or so outside. Difficult to reach, especially if driving.

Lovely place to stop after walk along the canal from Enslow. Food good, staff were friendly and has large seating area outside for warmer weather.

Took my baby daughter here for lunch. The beef stew was hot and delicious; the portion was just enough. Nice rabbit theme in the tea room. The outside setting is nice too. Staff was friendly. Seems very popular with families. Two high chairs available so you should be able to use one if you need it.Kid-friendliness: High chair available

So disappointing. Their own website says open until 5pm as does google etc. Just drove 40 mins, arrived at 4:17 and told we’re closed.

Cheese scones were best I have ever tried - better than a lot of posh hotels. They were served with fresh salad, delicious coleslaw, chutney and chutney. The sweet scones were also the best we have eaten in a long while and the homemade cakes were delicious too. We will definitely be back?

Lovely place and welcoming. Excellent tea and delicious egg and bacon sandwich. Treated to coffee and walnut cake which was home made and fabulous. Lovely selection of cards made by local artists for sale (will need cash for these but food can be bought by card) . Was great to be able to visit again.

The best coffee and carrot cake! Such a fabulous and friendly place and beautifully located near the Southern Oxford Canal. Delicious homemade cakes and home cooked food.
