This is a Chinese owned Korean style restaurant and the lady who served me was very kind and polite. The food I ordered, Kimchi fried rice was okay and the kimchi pancake was quite good. I have lived in Korea for a few years so I know how Korean food is supposed to taste. all in all it wasn't too bad.
Although the interior was shabby, The food was authentic and delicious. We got a taste from a place we've never been to. A family business that meets all the expectations and more. We had their kimchi stew, beef stew, tteobokki and seafood dishes. All were soo flavourful. Although tteobokki needed more rice cakes. Other than that, great service and quality ? ?
Great food here at Bamboo. I gave 4* for the atmosphere because we were the only customers but that is probably because it was extremely cold that night. I recommend the plum liquer, very sweet and great after a couple of servings.
