I had an amazing gluten-free three course meal as a part of my package with Oxford River Cruises. Unfortunately, the cruise was cancelled, but the meal did not disappoint. The carrot soup and sea bass were delicious. These were also the best fries I had during my short England trip. Well seasoned and thick cut. The crème brûlée was pretty solid as well. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere right on the Thames was excellent.

Full.of young family's when we arrived, so couldn't hearceach other at our table. Not much light, we needed a torch to view the menu.
Service was slow, but that was done to not enough waiting staff.
Roast beef and roast pork highly recommend for Sunday lunches, although could not see much difference between a 'small' plate and a normal size plate, (except £8).
Cauliflower cheese was made with mozzarella, so as it cooled, went into a vast lump of stodge. ?
3 choices for pudding,not great.
Fair wait between courses.

The guy behind the bar (manager?) who looked like Matthew Baynton was unbelievably brilliant! Best bottomless brunch we’ve ever been to, really attentive, the drinks didn’t stop flowing! We enjoyed their Sunday all you can eat buffet. Lovely food, lovely staff. We were made to feel very welcome and very relaxed.
As it was Mother's Day I got a little, very thoughtful gift when we left.
Though the selection was not big, everything was very tasty, not over salted or over spiced. The flavours came out beautifully, even in the hot spicy dishes.

Just called in for dinner whilst walking past heading for another restaurant. So pleased we did! Anthony, our waiter was so friendly and helpful. He suggested we try the house lamb curry (no 19 on the menu) which was superb - tender meat and a sauce that was aromatic and not too spicy.\nThe naan breads and rice were very good too. The meal worked out at approx 25 pounds each with a drink which is a bargain these days.\nBusy early evening which is a good sign. I can recommend Yeti.

I visited this restaurant and absolutely loved my experience! I ordered the Rosso Pizza, which was delicious and perfectly spicy the way I wanted it. I also tried the Irish Coffee and Hot Chocolate with Rum, and both were amazing they really made my day.

There was one waitress (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name) who greeted us, showed us to our table, and took our order. She was very professional, kind, and had a lovely presence her warm attitude made the experience even better.

Overall, it was a fantastic visit great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Lula's Ethiopian and Eritrean Cuisine

First of all ill start by saying, I've been eating for Lulas since she was a trader at Gloucester Green Market. The food has always been incredible. In fact, I loved the yellow split peas so much that I ordered berber off the Internet and have tried to recreate this dish several times. Whilst my version is good, nothing beats or fixes the craving for it like Lulas.

Secondly, the service was OUTSTANDING. I don't remember the gentleman's name that served us, but you could tell he was passionate about making sure people had a great time.

The Ethiopian wine was a nice alternative, and even though I wasn't overly gond of the strong honey taste, it was nice to try it. Same goes for the Ethiopian beer, which was lighty and very drinkable.

The food all around was incredible. My friend loved her lamb dish, while I adored my Gomen and split peas ( obviously). I love injera and eating with my hands so got stuck in.

Only thing I would have liked is the food to be a little hotter (temp wise) and a bit of spice. I asked for some chilli but it never came. The dishes I ordered aren't spicy, but I would have liked some.slided chilli's or hot sauce on the table to be able to.add some.

Ben and his team were amazing. My daughter booked the table originally then had to keep adding more people. We were 17 in the end. Ben always said it was no trouble. The food was amazing. I had the roast chicken. It was the best I have ever had. It was juicy and tasty along with all the trimmings. Definitely 5* I can also say everyone said their roasts were perfect too. Everything was served with a smile despite all of us being noisy and a little cramped. It’s a small pub.Desserts didn’t disappoint either. Everything tasted freshly made. We love the Hollybush! Its quite out of our way location wise but the deals they have are amazing especially Monday Pizza 2-4-2 with amazing choices and Pizzas of the month. We came and visited Oxford and were wondering where we could find authentic roast Sunday dinner and I was not disappointed!! I’m always very pleased with this café. The food is really good and the staff are always welcoming and smiling, which makes every visit enjoyable. I have never been disappointed so far.

My son especially loves the English breakfast here, and it’s become one of our favourite places to eat together. The café is also very conveniently located close to the bus stop to London, which is great for people who are travelling.

Delicious pies, fairly priced, walled garden, friendly service.

I particularly enjoyed the beef and stilton pie. The pastry was crisp and flaky. £16 with loads of chips and well executed homemade gravy is frankly a bargain.

They also have real ale and flat ciders, showing that they are in fact a proper pub.

We were running late and called ahead that we may be a bit late. I must have been told at least four times about it being Mother’s Day how badly lateness would not only impact us but other diner’s experience. It was overkill and impacted the time I had available to get there. In the end we arrived 2 minutes early and left 45minutes before our reservation expired. Service was generally good, the wait for condiments etc was slower than expected but understandable given how busy they were. We both had Sunday roast dinner. Plus points were the meat ( I had pork and my guest had beef), Yorkshire puddings, cabbage, gravy and roast vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was very disappointing consisting of some barely cooked charred cauliflower, no sauce to be seen and melted cheese stuck to the bottom of the receptacle. The roast potatoes were also barely roast with only one out of three having colour. They lacked crispness and disintegrated when cut into. To top it all, they did not deduct my £20 deposit for the booking but did rectify this when I called the following day.

Every single member of their team, from the front of house staff to our event planner Jenny, the in-house florist Emma, the chefs and pastry chef Luke and Benoit, the sommelier went completely above and beyond to make our day perfect. Throughout the entire planning process, Jenny was always available to answer questions, talk through ideas, and accommodate any tweaks we wanted to make. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

The team embraced our vision wholeheartedly, even transforming certain spaces to create a first-time dinner experience that felt intimate, personal, and uniquely ours. The attention to detail was simply unmatched. Every flower placement, every course, every small touch was considered and executed flawlessly.

The culinary experience alone was exceptional - completely tailored to us! Each dish was crafted with such care and precision.

What truly sets Le Manoir apart is the warmth and dedication of its team. They don’t just host you for events and stays, they create memories that feel deeply personal and incredibly special. Exceptional customer service from Lily/ Lola (Sorry, I don't remember the name clearly. I found out our rental car had broken down shortly after the meal).

I normally like Katsu will relatively more curry than usual, and she was very kind to offer me more.

And, the food was tasty and sat well; I didn't get food poisoned which is a very frequent occurrence in restaurants (fast food or otherwise) in England.

I'd definitely go here again if I'm travelling to/ via Oxford.

What a lovely, old-fashioned (in a good way) restaurant and pub. It's so homey and nice and the staff is wonderful. It really feels like you're in their home. The bar and restaurant areas are very inviting. A friend of mine was staying in the hotel and we came by a few times to eat and drink. One of my favorite places in Oxford for sure.

My partner and I have been coming here everytime we visit oxford as it just by the bus stop. Coffee is expertly made with care and taste fantastic. Staff are always very friendly, regardless of the queue or wait the quality is never sacrificed or faultiers. I really feel this is how all independent coffee shops should be.

The good selection was great, we had a sweet pastries. However, they had some savory pastries also.

This cafe. Damn. It's my new fave spot in Oxford. I've delighted in their homemade lamingtons (my favorite Australian treat) and chocolate crinkle cookies (my favorite American treat). The hot bagel sandwiches and sausage rolls are quite tasty, too. Right now I'm relishing their baked handmade spätzle. It's the best I've ever had. I've also enjoyed a delicious vegan lentil daal here. Their cooked food is such high quality that I feel like I'm in a full-on restaurant, but the prices are cafe prices.

The selection of cooked food is small, but they seem to rotate it frequently, and they always have veggie options. I really love how international their repertoire is.

The White Hart ha a different selection of real ales every time I visit. Believe me, I'm not complaining. I haven't rated the food because of the selection. The choice is either pizza or burgers. Max Price for a pizza is 14 pounds. Burger's will cost max of 13.50. chips and salad included. Down to seven pounds. This is my favorite pub on the Oxford canal. Community run. Everyone mucks in. It's a gem.

We stayed for one night in this hotel and did not regret it!
First of all — the location. Since the hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, it’s very quiet there. We slept peacefully, there was no noise, and only the wind came knocking on the window. The bed was comfortable, soft, and clean. There was also a fold-out sofa in the room — it felt just like a bed, equally comfortable.

Secondly — the room. It was very spacious, clean, cozy, and exactly what you’d expect from a good hotel.

Thirdly — the restaurant. We really enjoyed our breakfast. The buffet was well prepared, and the food itself was delicious. There’s something for everyone to eat.

We are very happy that we chose to stay here! Stay here — it’s a great hotel!
