We booked at Bella Italia for my daughter's 17th birthday meal, as it was her restaurant of choice. I easily made the booking online for and called a short while afterwards to add an additional person. Although fully booked, they were very accommodating and managed to squeeze an extra person in for us, so we had a table for 7. On arrival went in immediately, our table was ready to be seated straight away. The gentleman at the door was very friendly and welcoming. We were given just enough time to decide on what we would like to order and our food arrived in good time. Our food was hot, delivered with a smile by polite and friendly staff and thoroughly enjoyed by all - our meals were delicious. Our waitress, Sarah, was a delight! She was everything I would want from a waitress when eating out - warm, welcoming, attentive, polite, friendly, helpful... I could go on! She checked in on us but not too much, often glanced over to see that we were okay and came over immediately when needed. Sarah was also helpful with the offers we had to ensure we used the best one for our family.

Fantastic food, great taste.A very warm welcome and asked promptly about allergies. Very recommendable if anyone wants food before visiting the theatre.

My partner is dining at this restaurant as I write and sent me these photos abs comments to post up. Excellent food and great service! Not words usually used to describe offerings from a chain but this branch is being run by those who have the know how. The bill came to £49. Bravo! ??

Food is alright but not the best. Definitely it can be improved. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Loverly tree decorations. Good place for dating

The four star review is based on expectations of a chain restaurant and that the main party was a group of eight fifteen and sixteen year olds celebrating a birthday, With two parents sat at a separate table. The pizza was good, the pasta, the chicken burger and salad perfectly adequate. The service was polite, the food came out in good time. The restaurant has a pleasant and relaxed feel about it.For a chain restaurant they did well. The total price for ten people was £230, inclusive of a large and small glass of wine and tip.

The meal, service, and wine were excellent. Very clean and quiet, however they could improve on their cheap paper Napkins, as they let it down slightly.

Absolutely wonderful food and wonderful service. Alex our server was the star of the show - so kind, thoughtful even when we were being difficult! He made conversation, listened and worked efficiently and fast throughout the night without stopping. He was also very smiley ?. All the staff were very hardworking.5/5 for atmosphere - well done!

The food was good and the service was excellent. We got there 15’ early and had one extra person, more than the number of people we booked for, but we got seated straight away. The staff was lovely and helpful with our 3 and 6 years old. The food was delicious and great value for money. My breaded and butterflied chicken was perfect. We always love kids menu here, so generous and lots of choices

We had such a nice meal here, which was surprising as we had 3 tired kids to entertain! The restaurant decor is really nice, everything is clean. We came for the kids eat for £1 offer, and the staff were so kind and friendly to us and the children, accommodating different diets without any fuss and making an effort to chat to the children too. The children asked if we could go back the next day, and if we'd been local, we definitely would have come back! I loved the range of options on the menu - I had the asparagus risotto, which was amazing.Kid-friendliness: We chose Bella Italia to eat as they were offering kids 3 course meals for £1 with each adult meal. We had 3 children in our party and they each got an activity book and box of crayons. The staff were so nice with them, chatting and speaking to them about what they would like to eat. They were also fully accommodating when I requested to change the type of pasta for one of them, and offered to bring extra dough balls when one of them wasn't keen on the garlic bread she had chosen. One of the waitors even scooped all their icecreams into the cones for them when they asked (they are served upside down in a bowl). My 9 year old daughter insisted I write a 5* Google review immediately!Dietary restrictions: My friend had complex allergies including gluten and dairy, and expected not to be able to eat anything, but the staff were very helpful and offered her several things, including desserts.

Food is rubbish, staff declining discount even though it doesn’t state that the discount does not cover drinks. Extremely rude and not accommodating, don’t go here. Go elsewhere, extremely dissapointing. Pizza didn’t even have any cheese on.

Not sure why we were charged the service fee 10% without being asked? That is only compulsory for a table with over 8 people while we only have 5.The food was served very slowly, but that happens to all Bella Italia we have been too. I do not feel we receive any impressive service. The waitress was not even bothered to serve the food to each guest but asked us to pass the plate on by ourselves. During the whole process, nobody came to check if everything was all right. The man, with an accident, who took the phone when i was trying to book was extremely rude. He refused to listen what i said which was we needed a table at 1pm, rather than 2:30pm. He kept asking other questions about a booking 2:30pm though i hoped he could confirm if 1pm was not possible. Clearly, he chose not to listen and respond to what you said.
