“We had to wait about 15 minutes in a queue before entering but it totally worth it. Delicious meals, very big potions, friendly staff. The menu each time is limited but you’ll find interesting options for you. They make sushi only on Thursday evenings. The place isn’t that spacious and there is only one toilet.”

“My wife and I discovered this lovely cafe using the bounce app for luggage storage and stayed for breakfast. The coffee was by far the best we’ve had on our trip. The smoothie I had was perfect and the poached eggs and avocado toast was to perfection! My wife had portage and GF lemon cake. The vibe was great with good music at a perfect volume. Last but certainly not least the staff was incredibly warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. I wish I had such a cafe close to home! We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free”

“They don't make em like this any more. One of the last hold outs from an era before the community was overrun by students and speculators. The few below complaining about service reveal a lot more about the entitled outsiders draining the public spaces and housing stock than they do the pre-existing cafe/community vibes.”

“Pieminister for the win!In love with their pies! I had a beef steak, dry cured bacon and red wine pie and a beef steak & craft ale pie with gravy . Both absolutely delicious! You can also get mushy potatoes, cheesy mush, mushy peas and a few other sides as far as I remember.Definitely a must visit place if you’re in Oxford.”

“I go here for coffee on my way home from work, even though it takes longer to do so. This is because the staff are so warm and friendly, I always leave feeling happy. Excellent place, and lovely biscuits!”

“Love Coco! Beautiful place with a beautiful atmosphere. Florence Pugh says “tzatziki goes with everything” so I ordered the Greek Pizza which was absolutely delicious. Her dad (the owner), was there working alongside the staff and was so attentive and friendly. I’m so sad they’ll be closing down soon. Please visit while you still can!!”
“Had an amazing meal here on a Saturday night. Pre-booked (I recommend booking via their website as it was full and they were turning people away). It feels like such a hidden gem, so glad we discovered it and will definitely be back. The menu is really easy to navigate and honestly, every dish was full of flavour. Spicy tea was a great compliment to the food. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Leans heavily on vegetarian and in fact my wife is veggie and that was why we went there. The vegetarian dishes were the best thing about it to be honest. Yellow lentils with garlic was a favourite.”
