First time trying this place and it was really good. Food was really tasty and well worth the money, service was attentive but not OTT, friendly and nice atmosphere. Was a bit quiet but it's January and times are tight. Will be coming back.

We came here on New Year’s Eve and had overall a good experience. The food was tasty and nicely cooked but not as flavorful as at other Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants I have been to in the UK. I went for the Chicken Handi Lazeez, which was less spicy and rich than expected and a tiny bit on the watery side. My girlfriend had the Korai curry and it was a bit similar in flavor and texture to my dish. The service was professional and attentive, although that could be expected with some of the other tables being empty. We were slightly disappointed with the starter platter and they forgot our papadom order (we were not charged, so not an issue at all). Prices are ok. Overall a good experience but with some room for improvement.

Fabulous food. The tastiest Indian food I’ve eaten for a long time. My chicken biryani was absolutely delicious, I chose it because it was, unusually, accompanied by dahl, rather than a vegetable curry. My vegetarian family loved their paneer shashlik and chick pea curries. Service was attentive but not overbearing.

I have eaten at many Indian restaurants, but this was disappointing. I can't judge the meat dishes, but the sag paneer and dahi baigon were both bland. The former had very liitle sag (spinach) in it, and an almost korma-like thick yellow sauce! The baigon (aubergine) had little flavour, and a strangely similar sauce to the sag paneer! The rice portions were on the small side - just about enough, but rice is relatively cheap, so why not be a bit more generous? To summarise, the two veg dishes we had were not really bad, but below par...

Today we were at our hotel trying to find some where to eat, then our waiter (at the hotel) told us about some good Indian restaurants and that was one of them... so we when there and he was not wrong. The servers were incredibly amazing, the place was neat and tidy, and the food was the best part! It was the best I had! Back home we had average Indian restaurants but I thought that we had the best, and well Oxford has the best, making our Indian places back home are not as good so now that we had our food, I told them that I would leave the best review ever in the history of that place and well I don't know if it is or not. And did I not mention the area of the restaurant, a neat little pub right next to the place. And here are some recommendations for me for starters? Popadoms, main course? Chicken curry, for dessert? Masala tea (a go to for me) and ice cream (choose vanilla if you are a acceptable person if you have a good appetite like me than you would like to choose Swiss chocolate big hit for me)

I’ve find the staff was very rude. And Daley the food and drinks.and they charge service charge I’ve ask to take off and the manager was getting funny. Just coz I’ve ask bill to check it.

Friendly and helpful service. Food was delicious. I had the Paneer Korai. Pub next door was playing jazz which added to the already nice ambiance.

For a place that closes 10:30, they apparently stop taking orders around 9:30, which was a bummer when we reached there.. ended up getting takeaway and it took 30+ mts for it to be ready. The food itself was great though, and the person at the desk was courteous. Overall nice ?

My visit to this restaurant had its share of positives and negatives. While I found the food to be enjoyable without any issues, the service left much to be desired. The biggest drawback was the significant delay in bringing our food, which lasted nearly an hour and came without any prior notice. To make matters worse, they charged us a 10% service fee. Throughout our meal, the staff's constant staring made us feel uneasy and intruded upon. Although the food itself was satisfactory, these service-related aspects dampened our overall experience.

Bland and boring sauces, over cooked meat, slightly pricey.Three of the four curries we ordered tasted basically the same. All the meat was tough (other then the tandoori).Service was pretty good, but decor was a bit dim and generic, making for dreary atmosphere.

Having booked our party of six more than a week before, and mentioning a disabled member of our party we were dismayed to be ushered into the cold cheerless and empty basement. To their credit staff then found us room upstairs with the other diners. The food was fine if undistinguished but atmosphere was still lacking. Staff were very keen to clear our table despite empty tables all around. It was 8.45pm, I felt the staff just wanted to go home.
