Absolute perfection, I had the Katsu vegan chicken curry & my partner had the pad Thai, with a couple of mocktails & noodles and crackers as sides. Great service, great atmosphere, highly recommend. Will definitely be returning when next in Oxford, can’t fault

Lovely Thai flavours for every kind of palette. We had the thaikun sharer platter between the two of us and a pad thai with a side of crispy squid. Platter was okay, very filling on it's own so I'd recommend pairing it with just a side of rice as a meal. The pad thai was outstanding though and the crispy squid was unreal! Wonderful flavours, good service, loved the interior of the restaurant too. Felt very much like being back in Bangkok

Being a lover of Thai food and on a visit to Oxford, we decided to eat at Thaikun. We was not disappointed. My wife and I had a massaman beef curry and shared a vegetable sharing

Been to 2 different venues now... the food was good at both Oxford and Southampton. Lovely, consistent and staff very friendly no matter the time you go.It is a little pricey but definatly worth it and have never left there hungry.Would always recommend to anyone and everyone.Dietary restrictions: I have a food allergy and they were very thorough with what I could order and made sure the chef was aware.

Love the restaurant decoration. It makes me feel like Thailand. The food was delicious and tasty. I would recommend.

Been here a few times and it’s always an enjoyable experience. It was very busy during our last visit and we had to wait a while for our reserved table but there’s a nice bar area to enjoy so was no problem.Food is always nice, and there’s a lot of different things to try. I recommend the fishcakes to start.

Delicious food with a fun, buzzing, casual atmosphere and quirky decor. I found the leaf-shaped plates quite fun, and I think this would be a great place to bring a group of friends for a relatively cheap night out.My only two gripes are 1) the cushions on the chairs aren't attached to the chairs and this slide around quite a bit, making me fear that they'll fall off and 2) service was friendly but slow. It consistently took me a good while to flag someone to refill my water or get me a jug so I can do it myself, as well as to get the cheque. But if you're with friends and not in a rush, then this is probably a non-issue. Overall, would recommend if you have time to spare and some patience.

we visited for a friday night date night after we spotted this restaurant a few months ago, walking past and never managed to come back, however we finally decided to visit and we’re not disappointed! we had 2 starters, 1 main and 1 dessert and i think 2 cocktails and a pint and the bill was just over £110 which i would say is decent for the quality of the food and service. very fast service and attentive staff, food was incredible and i HIGHLY reccommend the bbq pork cheek with sticky rice and the bbq pork skewers, both were amazing. it was very busy so even tough we had booked a table we did have to wait at the bar for maybe 15mins but the decor is so nice we didn’t mind. will be back soon!Dietary restrictions: allergies were taken very seriously, very knowledgeable staff

A great food experience is what we have made at Thaikhun in Oxford. During our visit to Oxford our friend from the UK suggested this beautifully furnished restaurant. Indeed it was a great idea.Right from the entrance onwards Nook has taken care of us and did a great job.The dishes were very generously portioned and the taste was just delicious. If you are near or in Oxford and you'd like to eat good Asian food, try out this place.

I think the food quality is not very stable after my second visit. This is just an average Thai cuisine.First visit in May 2023 and I found the most authentic Thai food here like I was literally in Bangkok. The Mango Sticky Rice is amazing as the mango is sweet and sticky rice is still warm. I recommended it to everyone who visit Oxford. Then, my second visit is in Sept 2023 and I can tell the difference. This time is so bad. You can see the 3rd and 4th pictures and they are totally different from my first visit. The Mango sticky rice this time is sour. And other food are just average.I won't recommend this restaurant anymore.

The atmosphere here is comfortable with two levels of seating available.Food is mediocre with the skewers being dry. The most disappointing part was the rice. It was not as soft as I expected and felt that it was kept warm for too long. The food came fast after ordering.I asked if the coconut water was a real coconut. The server replied that it is fresh. I ordered and it came in a tetrapak. I ended up getting another drink instead.
