Had a great time, but a shame I missed the chair throwing incident which happened a few days earlier. An esteemed Oxford student dressed as a traffic cone had chucked a chair from the balcony onto the ground floor, hitting someone on the head and hospitalising them. Wish I had been there.I bought 7 units of alcohol for £5.90 (vintage pear ciders). They were fantastic.
I reported that the locks on 2 of the 3 men’s toilet locks were broken to the staff behind the bar this morning. There was total disinterest in my comment. The young Middle Eastern manager smirked that he was aware but they could not get anyone to repair them. The 2 girls giggled. I commented this was unacceptable.
