Right in the middle of this popular area sits the pub of the same name. Great decor, atmosphere and service. Plenty of seating areas. Good in the summer with outside space and open feel

Visited with family member on a weekday in Jan not a patch on our visit in dec, when it was Xmas busy as this was a lovely visit, we arrived at 12.30 and ordered straight away as only have an hour for lunch , was not made aware that food order was over 35 mins wait, which was a rush to eat it, if been informed we would of just had a drink, my order of the chicken burger was lovely as per the menu , I would recommend this, but the other dish did not , the steak sub came out on a toasted sub and was cold, said served pink and it was so overcooked and tough, and the condiments served was only a bit in the bottles, needed filling up or replacing, I will return in Feb and review again

Amazing traditional pub, with great ale and even better ambience. First place we looked for when we visited Oxford. Lovely, friendly staff and great service. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful on the outside, spacious and ambient on the inside. Booking and ordering online are both smooth. The chicken tender is a bit too oily and spicy for my taste. Not too loud, which means it is a nice place to hat with friends.

Possibly the smallest of the music venues in Oxford. Has been the proving ground for local bands over the years & still a good venue to see touring acts with a smaller set-up/solo acts. Access to the venue is via a narrow stairs behind the bar which can get a little cramped while waiting for the doors to open. Small stage at one end, with a bar at the rear around the corner. Sound quality is very good & the staff all friendly. Beer is a bit pricey (think London prices) but reasonable choice available. Worth keeping an eye on who's playing.

We loved our experience here. My family came to visit me from Brazil and I decided to bring them here. It’s hard to please 8 people with different tastes and dietary needs but we found food to for everybody. Vegans, vegetarians…Alina was super sweet and helped us to decide food for family member that has allergies. She went to the kitchen to check and provided an excellent service. Highly recommend!!!!!Vegan food is delicious

Take a look inside…. The Jericho tavern is the coolest bar in Oxford! Super garden and great interior, dog friendly, friendly staff and they take cash! Definitely worth a stop.

Fantastic little find! Dog friendly, kind and very helpful staff with a lovely back garden patio. :) Wish we could have stayed for the live music!

We brought my son and his wife and daughters after the youngest's baptism, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. We had a glitch on one of the two sides that came with our order (we thought we'd ordered a salad, but we got an order of chips instead). It could have been our mistake ... or our American accents could have been hard to understand. But no matter, as the staff took care of it immediately and a salad came our way in just a few more minutes. We were very impressed by the service ... and the food (burgers, roasted chicken) was VERY GOOD!

Great place to come to with friends. The food is tasty, the music is good, and the staff are lovely. The garden outside is nice in the summer but also has heaters if its cold. Ive been here a few times for gigs in the venue upstairs and have always had a good experience.
