Lovely place plenty of craft beer, would be knockout if they had some light

Without a doubt, the best pub in the Grove Wantage area and indeed county. The atmosphere is friendly and authentic and needs to be experienced. Now, of course, beverages and beer matter and this is one of the finest pubs, you will find for the selection of ales and beers. They are unsurpassed by any other pub that I have been to for a long time. Literally a hidden gem. Enjoy a pint in the cozy building or , if the weather is good , experience their excellent beer garden All pubs should be judged by this standard. Few will rise to the challenge. If real authentic pubs is your thing then this place is a must. ?

Love the character of this pub. Stained glass windows, period fireplace, low beams (yes I cracked my head as I left ?: I'd only had 2 pints as well ?). Had a very tasty Daymer Bay and then a refreshingly mild Mosaic IPA.Music wasn't really to my taste (blues rock), but I am a control freak when it comes to music ? Award winning for a reason, do visit! ?

Visited for a few beers with friends. The beer choice is great (best in Wantage). My choice (BBN No. 5) was really nice. Good atmosphere and service. It is definitely my favourite pub to visit in Wantage for a drink.

There is a huge garden outside with plenty of tables and umbrellas.I never realised it had so much space. From the front, it looks much smaller.Friendly staffGreat selection of drinksNice atmosphereShelf with board games to borrowParking is in a local car park or if lucky in a bay near by.Parking: Lots around wantage in various locations.Dietary restrictions: No food served here

Very dog friendly, big garden outside but dogs allowed inside too. Great beers, especially the stout!
Really nice atmosphere. Cosy and friendly.
Fantastic pub, great selection of drinks. New owners not as friendly and welcoming as before but still a good spot for a drink.
Lovely garden, great selection of drinks and really friendly staff (but not in an annoying way). Just wish they were open past 12
Lovely pub! Warm and nice, and dog friendly. Amazing treat and really big lovely garden!
