A fabulous meal at the beefeater in cowley today! It was my partners mums birthday and they made it super special with all the staff chipping in for some chocolates for her! Big thank you made it very special for her! Outstanding customer service lots of big smiles and the food was delicious! Big thanks to the team!

We used to be regulars here because it is around the corner from us but since february last year we never visited until yesterday. The simple reason was a massive letdown with food service and atmosphere. Now yesterday 31st december the food was great service very quick and polite and it was actually fairly clean. As i remember our previous visit when you would get stuck to the table. So at this stage i would definately recommend. If you like your steak or a decent burger with a small drink this is the place to go.Parking: Plenty of parking avalible just make sure to note the registration of your car and upload that on the system with reception to avoid a fine.

Just had our Christmas dinner and highly recommended, our waiter John from Canada was absolutely amazing so happy even working on Christmas Day and he made sure we was all happy and kept the drinks flowing definitely made us feel so welcome. Food was out quick each course was delicious and hot not long wait in between course, what a perfect day thank you all will definitely do this again.

Historically we call in the long wait and avoid. Visited before Christmas as one friend chose as venue. Whilst food was ok although took over hour to come, so did the bill. Manager was rude and seemed to laugh it off, no way to complain at all! Avoid, unless sitting and eating in bar where you pay 1st so can leave when you've eaten!

We had a wonderful breakfast last Sunday. Despite being very busy, we received excellent customer service. We did have to queue for hot food, but the team worked very hard to keep the wait time to a minimum. Sam, in particular, was very friendly and accommodating.

Table of 20 for a Christmas work celebration, we were a complete pain, people running late etc, but the staff were professional and excellent in every way. The table was laid out beautifully, very clean, food was served to us each course as a group which isn't easy for suck a large table. All the food was excellent and I can't emphasise enough how good the staff were on this evening.

Visited for a 'walk in' breakfast on a Sunday around 9am and found it incredibly busy, in a popular way. The staff worked really well under pressure and seemed to have good leadership. Plenty of awkward customers trying to make a fuss over nothing, which I thought was dealt admirably by the staff. Will definitely keep this one on my list when near Oxford.

Went there for my son’s eighth birthday, Overcharged on the bill. The waitress was doing everything she could, but the manager was absolutely useless. Could not care less did no help for customer service sticky tables. I really don’t know what’s happened to beefeater for a steak restaurant why the hell are they serving fajitas? Strongly suggest that they stick to what they are possibly good at and do it well do decent steaks. Come on whitbread group. I know your money is tight, I want to eat out then I expect to eat out well stop thinking about shareholders
