“Had a decent meal here. The atmosphere would have been better had we (and another table of two) not been placed right next to a slightly boisterous table to gents at a reunion.
Service was good and the food was excellent, although the inclusion of regular pub crisps with the steak tartare was slightly odd for an otherwise perfect plate. The monkfish main was fabulous, I would recommend it and I would recommend a visit to the Parsonage if you're nearby.”

“I’d love to say I tried the food but I was here for wine. As a lone female traveller I was made to feel beautifully welcome by Ollie, Jack and Millie. I’m using this as a base while I attend the theatre and get some Oxfordian portraits. As native of Mancunia these guys welcomed me with warmth and I am more than happy to recommend. I will be back at Xmas, I hope these guys are here too, I felt like one of the pack. You have a truely talented crew here.”

“I learned so much from Toby in just one day. I now feel confident choosing wine pairings when I cook for family & friends. An intense course, packed with information, quizzes & tasting wines from around the world. I highly recommend this course in Oxford. Lovely lunch too ! This was a birthday gift from friends. I went alone & felt very comfortable on a mixed table for 8. No 'hard-sell' of wines or accessories, just a fun, totally inspiring day. Thank you Toby !”
