“What a place! Asked a few months back if we could hold an end of year water fight party for our school year and they was more than happy to help! Katie went above and beyond for us. Reserved the lower part of the garden and dedicated 2 hours of the kitchen time just for us so we was able to all order and get the kids fed within a good time frame as we had around 60 plus confirmed! Had the outside bar open for ease,a table with fresh water jugs for us to help ourselves to and a bowl of sweets for the kiddies! Katie went out and stocked up on ice lollies and even added meals to the garden menu for us. The best part was the surprise of the local fire service turning up and the kids being allowed to take turns with the hose really did make the whole evening!! Amazing management,staff and Venue! With the added bonus of the camping which a few of us did use! Will be back for more parties in the future that's for sure!”

“We had a lovely family (inclusive of a toddler and a dog!) Sunday lunch at this welcoming pub last week whilst visiting the area for the weekend. The food was great, with a good range of drinks and wine list to accompany it and the service was wonderful.
