I gave this pub five stars because since new owners took over its become a much better place friendly and faultless with exceptional hospitality, it has a pub and restaurant with rooms to hire for over night stays . Will be definitely going
A great pub, great friendly staff. A great campsite £10.00 without electric £25 with. Need wedges as slopes. Fabulous food. Within easy walking distance of Hook Norton and the Hook Norton

The Gate is a lovely cosy pub that has recently reopened with a new owner / new management. This morning we went to the all you can eat breakfast. There was a great selection of hearty food, and the endless coffee was great. The new team have some very exciting plans so I recommend that people follow them to find out about fun events. Looking forward to the restaurant being fully open early next year.
