London Rd, Postcombe, ThameTravelling back to Manchester, we decided to stop for food. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Gammon, egg & chips were certainly a winner for me. Fast service with a great smile. Would definitely visit again if we travel past!

The Thatch
29-30 High St, ThameFantastic experience at The Thatch! The team were exceptionally friendly and professional nothing was too much trouble and the service was spot on throughout. The food was delicious, with a great range of daily specials that made choosing a real pleasure.
The garden is a real highlight - cosy, inviting, and ideal for a relaxed drink or meal, especially on a sunny day. A proper gastro pub that gets it right on all fronts. We’ll certainly be back! Highly recommended.

The Old Red Lion pub and village shop
40 High St, Tetsworth, ThameIf you are on holiday/day out anywhere near this place, divert to it. Fantastic little 'everything' establishment ... shop, cafe, bar, restaurant, function room (at rear), great hospitality, lovely 'lady-in-charge', dog-friendly, cheap. We were looking for the antiques centre and 'found' this cafe by accident - blooming glad we did. Great coffee, warm welcome, interesting chat with the owner. Please make a point of visiting this place to support them in these difficult times - multi-function cafe etc.

21 Cornmarket, ThameWe had a wonderful lunch at the James figg I've eaten here before but today I tried to ploughman's lunch and it was honestly the best ploughman's I have ever eaten compliments to the chef the service is always what's 10 out of 10 this place is a real gem

Old Nags Head
43 Upper High St, ThameA hidden gem in Thame. The beer is well kept, and you always get a great pint. The prices are very reasonable for this part of the UK. The garden is a suntrap and very quaint. The staff are attentive and polite. Definitely worth a visit.

11 Cornmarket, ThameNice place, friendly staff. The cheese soufflé is really nice and something different! Had the beef and ale pain for main and it was nothing special. Still tasty but definitely could have been improved. Sticky toffee pudding was nice as well. Overall a nice meal in a nice pub.

The Rising Sun & Pad Thai Cuisine
26 High St, ThameI've been for a drink several times to the Rising Sun, but this was the first time actually dining in. I'm also aware their takeaways are very popular due to their fantastic dishes.
The dining area is unfortunately limited to three tables which does make it reliable chance to get a free table. They do offer food in the bar area but personally I like to sit at a proper table. Therefore, I HIGHLY recommend booking at table.
The menu, is very varied with each page having a dedicated type of dish, beef, chicken, duck, seafood, vegan etc etc. The food came quickly and was to a high standard. I can see why their takeaway is so popular, as I'd love to work through their menu, dish by dish.
My friend and I had a variety of cocktails and mocktails which were great. They have a very varied range of drinks to fullfill everyone desires.
You may at this point be thinking, why isn't this a 5 star review. The unfortunate reality of the building, is that they are limited by their dining space. This severly limits capasity and potentially make it (if busy) very loud.

113 Wellington St, ThameWent there on a Sunday lunchtime and what a lovely change from the usual Sunday roast. The atmosphere was very cordial and well suited to a convivial meal with family. Service was excellent and very relaxed, didn't feel pressured at all. Delicious food, if anything too much choice, and served hot and fresh, cooked to our requests. Three vegetarians and a vegan in the party, we were all welcomed and catered for. First visit but definitely not the last.

Augustine Wy, ThameAbanico did a fantastic job for our end of the year team event. We opted for the 10 course Spanish tapas menu. The food was absolutely fantastic, and most of us went back realising how great Spanish food can be! Some of us were vegetarian and vegan and Carmen and her team ensured great options for them too. She even organized a tasting game for us through the dinner, which really elevated the whole experience to the next level. Strongly recommended for parties and corporate eventsPs: Don't forget to request for the Sangria (with a secret ingredient) - the best I've ever had!

The Three Horseshoes
Chinnor Rd, Towersey, ThameAn impromptu need for lunch off the Phoenix Trail with our 8 year old grandson on his first week of the school holidays lead us to the Three Horseshoes - just a 3 minute deviation from the old railway line. A warm welcome from Will and Caroline greeted us and then helped us to choose from an extensive, good value menu. The Three Horseshoes is is a lovely old traditional English pub, with a large car park and children's play area. What a delightful find in the first week of the holidays.

A418, B4011, ThameVery helpful and friendly staff. Good range of products and the food is always tasty and well cooked. I have pre-ordered on the Greggs app from this store a few times now and my order has always been ready for collection at the allotted time. Can get very busy at times but this is testament to the service and quality at this Branch of Greggs.

Smarts Fish & Chips
41 Upper High St, ThameThis was the best fish and chips we've had in a very long time. I had haddock and wife had plaice and chips. Chips were crispy brown and tasted great. So was the fish. Well cooked with crispy batter and white flesh. Price was good too. Wish I lived nearer as I'd then be a regular customer!

Milton Common, Thamekids allowed in pool a lot of the time so not very relaxing in the spa if you prefer quiet. spa staff and waitressing staff seemed understaffed or maybe undertrained. steam room smelt and wasn’t good. room was very nice and food was very good

Domino's Pizza - Thame
19-19a, High St, ThameThe only pizza place in Thame apart from Prezzo that makes lovely hot pizzas, I go here a lot when I've got nothing in my fridge need something to help my hunger. The staff are great the pizzas take around 15 minutes so you don't wait that long. And once you get your pizza it's hot and stays hot, prices vary on what you get, but personally I'd say all the food is great value.
