Also great vegan options - creative , rather than your standard curry or falafel.

Birdcage Inn Thame
4 Cornmarket, ThameStopped in for a drink after dinner on a week night. Was quiet, so we were able to enjoy ourselves and play a bit of cards. The young lad behind the bar was friendly and attentive when we ordered. Nice environment. Would grab a drink here again if I'm in town again in the future.

England's Rose pub and bed and breakfast
London Rd, Postcombe, ThameTravelling back to Manchester, we decided to stop for food. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Gammon, egg & chips were certainly a winner for me. Fast service with a great smile. Would definitely visit again if we travel past!

The Old Red Lion pub and village shop
40 High St, Tetsworth, ThameI stayed in the small double room with shared bathroom. As advertised, the room was small, but it and the bathroom were scrupulously clean and tidy, and it was perfect for a quiet night's stay. It is up stone steps from the outside, which may be an issue for some. I didn't eat here, but Jackie the landlord was very kind and friendly and I could have contacted her day or night with any issues.

The Rising Sun & Pad Thai Cuisine
26 High St, ThameFood was amazing here. There was 10 of us, all had different meals and everyone enjoyed the food. I had the Thai green curry and it was beautiful. Reasonably priced as well, service was friendly and atmosphere was good. Would highly recommend this place.

Chinnor Rd, Towersey, ThameParked up in the village did a short walk along the phoenix trail and then headed here for refreshments. Beer, cider, crisps and ice lollies for £16 is pretty reasonable in this day and age. Our kids particularly enjoyed the play area in the beer garden.

43 Upper High St, ThameA hidden gem in Thame. The beer is well kept, and you always get a great pint. The prices are very reasonable for this part of the UK. The garden is a suntrap and very quaint. The staff are attentive and polite. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was absolutely fantastic, and most of us went back realising how great Spanish food can be! Some of us were vegetarian and vegan and Carmen and her team ensured great options for them too. She even organized a tasting game for us through the dinner, which really elevated the whole experience to the next level. Domino's Pizza - Thame
19-19a, High St, ThameThe only pizza place in Thame apart from Prezzo that makes lovely hot pizzas, I go here a lot when I've got nothing in my fridge need something to help my hunger. The staff are great the pizzas take around 15 minutes so you don't wait that long. And once you get your pizza it's hot and stays hot, prices vary on what you get, but personally I'd say all the food is great value.
