The staff are very polite however are very inexperienced. They all appear to be teenagers. The place is always messy and they never have any food. They always don’t have something. No great.

Went in on a sunday, got served by lily and olly i think, they were so kind and helpful especially when helping me choose what drink i wanted. I will come back just for them!

Olly and Casey are amazing in the mornings!!! Always so lively and bubbly and ready to start the day even at such early hours. Always so helpful brining our stuff to the tables and having good conversations. Give them a pay rise!!

Visited for the first time last Sunday. I think the counter in the middle of the shop is a bit problematic as when you’ve got your coffee you have to squeeze alongside the queue to get to the front of the shop. I ordered try drinks and I would like to say the staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. As we were leaving my partner had disappeared and he was offering the young people a tip each which they politely refused. I hadn’t commented to my partner on the good service he said he’d just observed himself how hardworking and yet welcoming to everyone that entered the shop. Well done Sunday staff in Costa Thame!

Ok so I assisted one of my ELDERLY (90+) clients out for a coffee because after covid he hasn’t been out much so we thought let’s start with the local Costa- WRONG!!!We got to the coffee shop and ordered around 17:00 and then sat down for a chat and drink. I went back in to get some napkins and a member of staff ‘O’ literally threw them at me- a whole lot of them. His attitude was nasty since I entered the shop but ignored him.Anyway the plot thickens, it got to about 17:20/25 thereabout and a lovely young man told they were closing and would need to pack up so we said no problem we’re almost done. Mr ‘O’ came out and began bossing my ELDERLY client and holding onto his drink and tray to take it away saying we’re closing. So I got mad and said excuse me there are several tables and chairs to pick up do them and leave us for last. Mr ‘O’ came back out and said well we will finish collecting everything in 2 mins so you need to go now we ignored him. Anyway my client poor thing managed to finish up his cappuccino and was getting up and holding onto the table for stability again Mr O now standing over my client and attempting to move the table whilst he is leaning on it to avails falling and breaking his hip. Whilst there were 4 chairs to still collect but he was adamant on being nasty to us. Imagine I wasn’t there to advocate for my client he would have ended up in an ambulance headed off to hospital all because he wanted a coffee. Shame on costa and Saha me on Mr O. No regard or respect for the elderly. He was mannerless and nasty. I wouldn’t want to meet him again ever!! Stay away from Costa Thame!!!

Handy access to WiFi and the staff are all nice so I sometimes go in here to work for an hour to get out of the house. Other than for this reason, I'd always opt for another cafe in town.There was a lot of dead flies in the window last time I went in too.

What a shame that Costa Thame has noticeably deteriorated since our last visit. The coffee was almost undrinkable, the staff were totally inexperienced with no concern for the comfort of the customer. One young girl even sat on the counter talking to a colleague! The overall appearance of the table and chairs was "grubby". Our rating would be 3 out of 10. We feel that both the staff and the coffee shop needs a total refurbishment.

Exclusively good service in Thame Costa. The patience and customer service of the staff is something that should be studied by anyone who is dealing with the general public. Just witnessed a splendid display of how to politely let a customer know that they'd maybe been a little abrupt - calm, clear and curteous - masterclass ?

Very slow service. Trays not collected. Side of good display very dirty with smears and finger prints. Table grubby. Behind the serving counter and preparation areas very messy too. But a good brand representation for Acosta!
